Dang it, I missed the Pokemon and Super Smash Bros. DS talk!

@ PHANTOM93 and Badknux: Also would you think that they would still have final smashes and assist trophies in the game too? I would also like to see them put the platform stage that you had to do in the first SSB game back into the game.

@ PHANTOM93: I would also like Ryu from Ninja Gaiden and Geno since he deserves to be in another game and not just disappear like Mario's cousin Stanley from Donkey Kong 3.

@ badknux: Your right, I would buy the game is they came out with one. I'm also sure many other people would also buy the game. And I'm sure that there are other people on this site that would buy this game too. So x.SuperMario.x, while your traveling on the road thinking about playing your Wii or whatever you have high interest for, me and Badknux would be playing Super Smash Bros. on DS if they, again, came out with one while going to wherever we want to go.

@ PHANTOM93: Yeah I wish that they would do that but try to get a few new 3rd party characters along into the game

@ Bensei: So u think i'm right? Well, it is kind of true by how poor some of the games were during the summer and by how great some of the games we are getting now are. I don't know whether to like or hate summer. Also, I don't know if you care, but sorry for misspelling your name in my last comment.

@ Phantom93: I agree with you. They should at least remake the original Super Smash Bros. That would keep me occupied on my DS for a while.
@ x.SuperMario.x: Wasn't Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness the closest to being like an original pokemon game for the gamecube?

@ Bensi: Like I said, it is only a guess, it is not how I think Nintendo runs the virtual console or wii ware.

I think I found out why we got worse releases for the summer and are starting to get better releases during the fall and winter. I think it is because that during the summer, people are outside a lot and are doing things so people are going to be inside to play videogames less. But once it starts to get cold out and kids are going to have to go back to school, they would be inside a lot more therefore people would play videogames a lot more during the cold season as to the warm season. At the same time, I could be wrong because maybe kids would play videogame more during the summer since there is no school and less during the winter because they have school. (this is only a guess, this is not how I think nintendo works)

@ badknux: I don't understand why there isn't a Super Smash Bros. game for the DS yet either?
Wouldn't they know that people would want 2 play SSB on the go?

The 250th game should be a nintendo title because this is Nintendo's virtual console, but hey, who knows, it could be from any system on the virutal console.

@ Mickeymac: True, I doubt Xbox Live would become free, but it would be better to at least lower the price of the online service.

@ Badknux: Yeah, I missed those old times (Remenbering all the fun games I played on Xbox, Gamecube and PS2 while writing this), but at least the PS2 is still having games made for it. Too bad it won't last much longer, though.

@ BadKnux: Your right, the original Xbox, PS2, and the Gamcube did have better games to play, even though I'm sure some great games would be coming out for the Wii, 360, and the PS3 before their lifespan ends.

@ Rexy: That would be funny if the PS2 outlasts the PS3, but at the same time, it is believable because for some reason, the PS2 fells more like a gaming console to me than the PS3 does (I do not own a PS3).
@ MarkyVigoroth: Get used to getting out of topic here, it happens a lot for some reason.
@ Badknux: Personally, I agree with you, even though I like the 360 over the PS3, I think that all games from last generation of your console should be playable on your current generation console, I also think that online should be free (Even though 360 has the best online and I think Bill Gates has enough freakin' money), and that you should work out the kinks or problems of your console before shipping them out to people hopping that it would correctly, or it is just another scam for Bill Gates to get more money.

@ BB Sting: Is that the main reason why people should but a PS3? Honestly, I thought 360 had all of those good M rated games while the PS3 has all of the racing games.

@Rexy: That is some interesting infomation about the console (I am not being sarcastic). Too bad that the PS3 is doing poorly though (I'm still not getting the console). I wonder if because of the PS3's failure, that is the reason they still make games for the PS2? But anyway, I agree with you Rexy, Sony have to get their heads back in the game if they want to stay as a competitor with Nintendo and Microsoft.

Well, my brother is more of a 360 fanboy (he still plays the wii, though) while I am more of a wii fanboy (I also play the 360). To say which one is better is kind of confusing because the wii has motion control, classic gaming, and has free online (though it needs improvement) while the 360 has better graphics, better online (though it should be free or cost less), and better storage.
So to say which one is better is like saying which NFL team is the best, because every year, the teams usually change to become either better or worse from last year. (Also, I am a big football fan, Go Jets!)
Another thing, does anyone here own a PS3 because I didn't get one because I thought it was too expensive and if you have a wii and a 360, that is pretty much like having a PS3. So can someone tell me how much they like or dislike their PS3?

Hey guess who is back from football camp! (even though it felt more like hell on earth) Anyway, what do we have here, the release of super mario rpg and clu clu land? All right! This is great along with the other 2 releases from last week. Now all I need is for Mega Man 9, Super Mario Kart, kirby's dream land 3, and( I am still not sure if I should get this or not if it comes out) Mario Golf and I will be great! ( the reason i have so many exclamation points is that: 1. Super Mario Rpg is out and 2. I am finally back from football camp.)

@ Rexy: I guess there are people out there who will probably never be satisfied. Oh well, can't please them all.

Well this is a nice surprise for the NA VC this week, though I already have Mega Man 1 for the Anniversary Collection on Gamecube and Neo Turf Masters for the SNK Collection on Wii, but good week for those of you who have never played Mega Man 1 or Neo Turf Masters and want to try them out.

@Cocoa Man5: The only reason Japan has more than 100 games over NoA and NoE is because, just like Ginta said, the company is a Japanese company, so Japan is going to get better games first before us.
Also, I think the people to blame are SNK, Hudson, and Capcom for saying that their games were coming out monday without having Nintendo making it an offical statement. So overall, SNK, Hudson, and Capcom are to blame, not Nintendo.

@ eltomo: While I do think that is a good idea to just get the Mega Man Anniversary Collection just to get Mega Man 1-8 for about the price of a N64 game on the VC (I've got the collection when it first came out), people might not want all eight games, they just might want Mega Man 1&2, also the button combination is reversed (A is to fire, B is to jump) so maybe people want to play the game in its original button combination (A is to jump, B is to fire).

@ Mickeymac: Well, I guess you should start buying your Wii Points card at Gamestop so you don't have to pay tax anymore.

@ will: Andrew is right, stop posting on a Nintendo site if you are talking about much you are glad you sold it off. In fact, I think you are pissed off at yourself because you sold your Wii and you want other people to do what you did so you aren't mad at yourself for making a huge mistake on selling your Wii.
Also it is called a 360, not a 350.

It's cool how ESRB rated these 2 games for the US, even though I perfer the Gensis's Sonic the Hedgehog over the Master System version.

@ Mickeymac: I don't know where you get your Wii Points from, but where I get them from, which is Gamestop, they actually charge me $19.99!
About these games, even though they are really good, they don't really interest me. Though they are better than the game we got from Wii Ware, which isn't a bad game either.

@ Mr. Cheez : I found that out on www.nintendoland.com. It is a pretty cool site to check out and they also have a Mario fanboy test to see how much you love mario, I got 33% which means that mario is my way of life.

@ el cabarto: lol that was a really funny story, nice job.
@Andrew and firebrand: Thanks for the information on where the convention is being held. Too bad it is all the way in Los Angeles, I don't think I can make the trip to there from New York, oh well. Also, the reason the amount of people attending the convention dropped is because E3 and E for All split up and made two seperate conventions of their own. I guess that is why the size dropped greatly.

@ Firebrand: To tell you the truth, after looking back at what I said about them giving us good games today so we can support them at E3 does make no sense actually right now.(Mainly because of that crappy food eating game we got today for the Wii Ware.)Also thanks for telling me what time the convention starts. Do you also know where it is being held?
@Terranigma: I know, it is a preety cool fact to know. Sadly, not a lot of people know Stanley because he was released in one game. Poor Stanley.

Well, at least we got two decent games for the Virtual Console. Too bad they have to share a release date with this garbage Wii Ware game.

If they get the lesser games that we don't want out of the way, they would have to give us better games or games that people are demanding be released on the virtual console, like the games people are demanding be released from the Nintendo Power: Most Demanded section.(See the King of Monsters post, # 56 ,that I made to see the games that people are demanding be released.)
Also, as a fun fact, did you know that Stanley is actually Mario's cousin? Pretty cool information, right?

Well, even though neither of these games really interest me, I like the fact that we finally got a nintendo game.( Even if we still got a neo geo game with it, which isn't a bad one.) Honestly, I think they are giving us good games so they could get us to support them during the console war @ E3 today.
Also, does any1 know where the E3 convention is being held and at what time the convention is starting?

This is a pretty cool song, I hope we get this game before September comes, or at least before 2009.

This game is stupid and pointless. How could Nintendo actually let this game be released? We need to get smarter people picking out the games for the virtual console and Wii Ware.

This is also another highly wanted wii ware game that is coming out. There is only two things I am worried about for this game:
A. how much space this will take up, and
B. how much this will cost.
Anyway, this and Mega Man 9 coming out will be just great, can't wait for this one too!

As of right now, this is definitely the best game coming out on Wii Ware to this date. Even though this is also going to be on the 360 and the ps3, since the first eight mega man 8-bit games came out on the NES, the Wii's controls will be the best controls for this game, can't wait.
Also, can you play this game with the classic controller?

@ 7th lutz: well, I'm just trying to make a point by saying that NoA should start releasing some nintendo classics on their own virtual console shop instead of giving us non-nintendo games for the last month.

This looks preety interesting to download. I may have Mario Kart on the Wii, but this looks fun and enjoyable. Sadly, I have no more Wii Points, so I guess I'll just put this on my wish list for the Wii Ware games (it only is this game and mega man 9 on the list though), but anyway, I'll get a Wii Pionts card as soon as I can so I can get this game and mega man 9 when it comes out.
P. S.- So far, I have no interest in any virtual console games that are out.

This looks just awsome, I am gonna get this came the first day it comes out. I have always been fan of the classic mega man games for the NES because they are the most interesting and funniest mega man games in my opinion. I just can't wait for it, release it soon!

This is horrible what NoA is doing to the virtual console, I have looked at the three most recent nintendo power issues under the top five games that the public demands that should be released on the virutal console and the ones that the people always want are: Earthbound (Super NES), Mother (NES/Japan only), Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Super NES), Chrono Trigger (Super NES), The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64), and Super Smash Bros. (N64). So, as you can see here, there are three Super NES games, two N64 games, and one NES game, and no other types of games from any non-nintendo system that the public demands to have on the virtual console. Maybe NoA should start reading nintendo power or start giving us some nintendo games for a nintendo system!

I never played or heard of the neogeo because of 2 reasons, (1) I was born in '94 and (2) I used 2 always play the NES, the N64, and the Genisis. Though, I find these games 2 be very interesting and I might even get some of them if they do come out on the VC. Also, congrats 2 u corbie for turing this nintendo fanboy into also a neogeo fanboy.(sorry if I didn't spell any words correctly)
