Honestly, I have the megaman collection for gamecube and the megaman x collection for the psp, but I really would like to see mega man 2( i never really liked mega man 1 ) on the virtual console and I will get mega man 9 if it really comes out on wii ware for the US. Also, thanks for this great news Darren!
I am not sure which sonic game is better, the sms version or the md version? I never played either of them, I only played (even though I still have it) the gensis version with the 32x on it.
@ edux: I agree with you that this could be NoA's solution to the memory problem everyone was complaining about, or they just did that to even out the amount of games that America and europe had by giving us nearly nothing but giving Europe about double we get out of two weeks. I am saying this because I think at the beginning of June, didn't America have more virtual console games than Europe? Anyway, now that the amount of games Europe has equals the amount we have, I think that we might start getting a lot more releases in July than what we got in June.
@rapadash6: I agree with you, this would be a cool feature to do at least once a month. Also I want to know why the ESRB took off their rating for smrpg, it really sucks that they did that. Here is to earthbound and star parodier not getting their rating taken away just like smrpg!
I am telling you now, I have only played the first level of yoshi's story, my brother has played and beaten this game at least two-six times, but I have watched him play it so I'll go by what I know. Yoshi's story is unique due to the fact that it is only about being yoshi and saving the super happy tree from baby bowser so the island won't stay in a pop-up book form. Their were six different colors of yoshi and those were pretty much your lives. If you lost a yoshi, you can get it back by finding a white shyguy in a level. Once you beat the level, and if you still had the shyguy with you, while you have the option to click on the shyguy and he would retrieve only one of the yoshis that you lost back to you. Overall, this is fun for yoshi fans who want to see their favourite dinosaur beat a game without mario or luigi. 4/5
I have played nearly all of the kirby games, but I think this one is one of the best kirby games out there. The levels were fun to play and having you try and find all of the crystal pieces was fun and challenging. What I like most about this game was being able to combine two different powers into a new one, which makes you sit there and try to figure out the best combo that would get you out of the level in one piece. Another thing that added to the fun in this game, besides the multiplayer games, which are uniquely fun, was having the game let you play as king dedede so you can get though some parts. I would recommend this to people who are looking for a nice platformer and/or a good kirby game to play. 5/5
This is my first street fighter game that I have ever played, and this game is as fun and rewarding as it is hard. The controls are decent enough to land some nice combos and quickly take out your opponent. I would recommend this game to people who have played at least one of the other street fighter games at least for an hour. Still, it is a really cool game. 4/5
This is the first game I have played in the Star Soldier series, and what a choice! This game is very addictive game and I can't stop playing it, what is also good about this game is that you get a partner that can take hits for you and won't die. Overall, nice shooter game for people who want a challenge and people who are new to shooter games. 5/5
This game is an extremely difficult mario game. It is, hands down, the hardest one out of the four different smb games on the nes. This will have you cursing up a storm and will make you want to throw your classic controller at your television. I will recommend this to people who want all of the mario games, who want the real smb2 (even though our smb2 is also a classic), and who want a challenging mario game. 5/5
I think that they should have kept the co-op mode instead of making people go one at a time. Still, it is a decent beat 'em up game and the loss of co-op mode just raises the difficulty for this game. 3/5
This game is another arcade and pick-up-and-play type of games like balloon fight. This one, however, has better controls, has easier bonus levels, and is overall more fun. I would only recommend this to people who want all of the mario games, people who want to get the higher scores than their friend in 2-player mode, or who just want a game that would get harder a few levels after the first bonus game. If you want a really challenging mario game for the nes, I would recommend super mario bros: the lost levels instead of this game, but overall, this is a really fun mario bros. arcade game. 4/5
I think balloon fight is a decent pick-up-and-play kind of game, especially with 2-player mode and also being an arcade style game to boot. So overall, I'll give this game a 4/5 just for 2-player being in there with the game.
I have just downloaded this today and this one is also the first castlevania game I have ever played, so I am still learning the controls. It is, however, a great game and it is a fun one too! Overall, i give this game a 4.5/5 for being fun but at the same time hard.
