"With Wii U, we have taken a rather resolute stance in pricing it below its manufacturing cost, so we are not planning to perform a markdown. I would like to make this point absolutely clear."
Wait, so does this mean it already is below its manufacturing cost or they are stating they will not price it below its manufacturing cost?
Pokemon XY, Brain Age, Animal Crossing, (hopefully) Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright, and (hopefully) Ace Attorney 5 are the brightest on my radar right now as far as full retail games are concerned.
@MarkMcColtney I've only flipped through mine, I haven't read it cover to cover yet, but it doesn't seem to mention the CD-I games anywhere. That was one of the first things I thought to look for too. :/
People, the games listed are merely suggestions - they aren't your only choices. I guess the only rule would be the game had to have come out in 2012 on a Nintendo device.
And who cares that a girl is playing Link in this video? Seeing as she's basically playing "make believe" I really don't see how her being a girl matters in this video. It was made for fun, she's just playing a part. Besides it's not uncommon for a girl to play a boy or a young man. For example, Peter Pan is traditionally played by a girl.
@grimbldoo LOL I'm not sure what you mean by "but he doesn't have to look like he's been stuck in the couch cushions for a few years"? Some clarification might be needed here cause I've found some pretty awesome things in my couch cushions over the years.... ;p
The great thing though about fan art is that it let's an artist apply their own unique style to something that's already been created. That's why I love fan art, you get to see some of your favorite things from so many different points of view. That's how I'm seeing these pieces - just as fan art, just for fun.
Annnnd now all of this has me wanting to browse through some Zelda fan art for a few hours!
@grimbldoo That's a good piece right there but I still prefer the other pieces. Something about them...I think it's just cause I have a soft spot for styles like that. ;p
Great art, I love the grittiness to it. I also like the realism, abandons any sense of a cartoony look. Not that there is anything wrong with that look, just nice to see something different from the norm.
This is great as fan art but I doubt we'll see anything like this in a game. Which is probably for the best, the Zelda games are better as games that can be enjoyed by pretty much all ages - not just adults.
Will definitely get Crashmo but I think I should finish Pushmo first. Tempted to get Zelda II but I already have that on my GC anniversary disc...but then again save states....hmmm
@True_Hero I think Nintendo has some of the best customer service out there! Every time I've had to call them about something (dating back to the 90s here) the conversation always ended with me pleased. They may not be super great at some other things but I do think their customer service is top notch.
Aww Johnny HotShot looks cute. Might wait for a review first but it does look fun.
Want the Pokedex and will get it eventually (the price is slightly off putting but it sure looks niiiice) I think I'll just get that Mickey demo for now.
I just got to experience the Zelda Symphony live again a few days ago and then this comes out! I love hearing video game music played out like this. Totally worth $10. Job well done. Hope they branch out to the other games in the series.

Re: Amazon Lists The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker HD For $59.99
I'll probably end up getting it still but now it just may not be on launch day. I also want to wait for a review because of this price.

Re: Hyrule Historia Is The Number One Best Selling Book In The US
As it should be.
Re: Emergency Maintenance Scheduled for Nintendo Online Services on 28th January
I'm hoping for something Pokemon related but this is probably just some routine dusting and tightening of the locks so to speak.
Re: Ever Wondered What Downton Abbey Would Be Like As A SNES Game?

Re: SNES Classic SimCity Removed From Wii Virtual Console
Well now might be a good time to buy any VC games that I've been putting off for years....you know...just in case.... :/
Funny enough I'm interested in this game now that I can't have it. Well I can get the original cart I guess if I really want it...

Re: Mega Man 1 to 6 Blasting Onto 3DS Virtual Console

Re: Capcom Announce Street Fighter X Mega Man
Wait so this was the "news" they were talking about a few months back?
Sigh. :/
Re: New Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Teaser Site Opens
Probably a port to phones. Can't see how there can really be a sequel at this point? At least in the vein of Final Fantasy that is.
Re: Nintendo Download: 6th December 2012 (North America)
Maybe Crystal Adventure, might take a look at Harvest Moon.
Re: Rhythm Hunter: HarmoKnight Heading To Europe And North America Next Year

Nice.
Re: Review: Pokédex 3D Pro (3DS eShop)
Aww I was really looking forward to this but $14.99? Ehhh.
Well...I was expecting it to be $9.99 so I guess five more bucks doesn't make much of a difference. :/

Re: Guild01 Titles Heading to eShop
By the "end of the year" for North America? Well cool. There isn't much left in 2012 so the wait won't be long!
