@PrincessEevee9 Scott Pilgrim is one of my top 5 favorite movies, but that movie itself tanked. If you don't like Rogen and Goldberg is one thing, but tank? Very unlikely.

@jakysnakydx The levels in Rayman Legends where you have to full-out run or make your way upwards as the surroundings are falling require some of the most pinpoint-precise platforming I've ever played.

@allav866 yeah, I understand that they promised it. So that is lame of them. I like owning the VC games mostly for nostalgic purposes, but I find I never spend much time playing them. And SMB3 is in my top 5 games ever so don't get me wrong. When they do release it I'll probably buy it that day. I guess I just lack the urgent need for it that everyone else has is all.

Holy hell, I think Nintendo VC is super poorly managed, but the amount of whining for a game that everybody has played a thousand times is unreal. There's so much that came out for the 3DS this year that I still need to get to. Chill out people...

Surprised you haven't posted that LoZ won Gamespot's overall GOTY award. In a year with The Last Of Us and GTA V, that's pretty awesome. Took me 26 hours to beat it and I loved every minute. Awesome game.

@Bliquid yeah, I didn't realize this transfer limit was even an issue. I upgraded to an XL, that was the only time I needed a transfer. I definitely don't have thr cash to buy every single edition they come out eith. Now I wonder just how inflated their handheld console sales must be from die-hards who buy every new iteration lol.

The resolution is useless for video. I have a Vita whivh I use for Netflix and Youtube (and mostly just MLB 13 The Show) my 3DS is lucky it has the awesome 3D effect and a way better catalog of games than Vita lol.

Wasn't sure about getting this cause there were no bosses, but I'm glad I took a shot. This may beat out Mario 3D Land for most I've enjoyed a game on 3DS. The gameplay is perfect.

Lives are pretty pointless. How many games out there make it tough to finish a game these days? The later levels in Super Mario 3D Land were some of the toughest levels I've played in recent years. I look forward to getting a Wii U one day to play this game. Nintendo are still the masters of platforming.

May as well just have GTA V and TLOU in that GOTY category, nothing else there has a chance. And I haven't played either, it's just obvious lol.

I can't say I've ever found anything more frustrating, video games related, than Nintendo's Virtual Console. Seriously Nintendo. I love you, but you make some baffling, incredibly sh**ty decisions.

The guy that reviewed it on pocketgamer.co.uk claimed to not have died once in the entire game. I obviously haven't played it yet but I call b.s.

That rental system sounds iffy but I can't wait to play it regardless.

@TheOneHacker Great post. I love Nintendo but they still have no idea what to do when it comes to online stuff. I barely utilize online functions aside from Netflix and internet, but it's unforgiveable that they don't have accounts yet. Unreal.

They're all either playing Monster Hunter on their 3DS or their PSP. Lol I mean doesn't PSP still sell like crazy over there? Japan shouldn't be used as a measuring stick for anything.

I'm unfamiliar with the series (just never got around to these games) but I downloaded the demo and was surprised it was rated M. Nothing about the demo indicated this was a Mature title? Is that rating correct?

People REALLY need to get productive hobbies. Like, get over it lol. We really need to flip poopoodoodoocacapoopsiedoodles over something like this? First world problems. Gotta love em.

I think this is a great idea for kids but I could never buy it. I love my 3DS and my games but the resolution still makes me cringe to this day. The 3D saves it, but without 3D? Ugly, ugly, ugly. I've literally not gone over 5 minutes total without the 3D switched on. I do have to say I have a Vita and the difference in resolution became way more annoying after I had that Vita screen lol.

This is why for the past 10 years I've had Sony's handheld for my sports fix and my Nintendo handheld for all my other gaming needs. The GBA Maddens were fun but other than that, Nintendo sports games are atrocious.

@Captain_Gonru Oh I know, I had the Game Boy Player for GC. I think pixel based games were fine on that, when you get into polygons I feel like it really doesn't hold up. Gosh I'm not even crazy about the screen on the 3DS itself, but the 3D effect more than makes up for it lol.

People realize 3DS games blown up onto a big-screen tv would look atrocious right? I couldn't even stand to play the PSP God Of War games on my Vita, they looked so bad.

Either 3DS or Vita please. I'd buy it for both just to support this. Game looks awesome and I think the new gameplay aspects are refreshing. Stoked.

@millarrp I highly doubt the Circle Pad Pro would be made for this if it's aimed at a younger demographic. Two out of the three games it's used most for are MGS and Resident Evil, M rated games. Not that I'd be shocked if the CPP did come out for it. It'd definitely be ugly though lol.

@Cotton So if the photos ever do happen to be transferred to a 3DS (like when a child is old enough to safely view the 3d effect) the pictures will be in 3d.

Today I realized just how many people have nothing better to do than complain. Nintendo expects exactly zero people to chuck their 3DS and buy this. It's for kids 7 and under who aren't supposed to use 3D. But this is what the internet is for, moaning about things that won't affect you in the slightest. Holy LOL.

This guy is the Mel Kiper Jr. of video games. Useless.
