@Stuffgamer1: Thanks, I was always a huge Rare fan and often wondered what DKL 2 and 3 were like. I seem to recall the UK official Nintendo magazine calling them direct ports which put me off. I will definitely be interested if these come to the 3DS.
I loved this game at the time but I played it again a few years ago and found it completely unplayable on my original Game Boy screen. How I could ever have seen where I was going I don't know. I have a question though, this a very different game to Donkey Kong Country however I never played DK Land 2 and 3. Are these ports of the SNES Country games or do they just share similar artwork on the packaging?
It will be interesting to see how it displays on my widescreen TV. I'm guessing it will 4:3 with large black bars at the sides, and more boarders at the top and bottom where the image was originally shrunk to fit PAL displays. Surely Nintendo can't get away with charging a retail price for this?
@SilverBlacktail Your right, I remember Nintendo talking about 'Bio Tetris' around the same time as N64 launched which did as you described. I always thought it was coming to the Game Boy though.
What does wii connect 24 actually do apart from pick up my messages? When it was announced I thought it would automatically download new firmware when it became available but it cant even do that.
Rare seems most likely, Nintendo just didn't outsource back then like they do now. Wouldn't it be funny if Rare tried doing a Metriod but canned the project and turned it into Jet Force Gemini?
World of Goo cost more than this and turned out to be the best game on WiiWare, if this is anything like as good then I have no problem at all with the price.
I didn't get a DSi and I won't be getting this. The next DS better have a much higher resolution like the iPhone as even the lite looks rubbish these days.
Also how do you feel about the heavy discounting of new games from the UK supermarkets and online? And do you feel the second hand business model can benefit consumers in the long term?
Am I correct in thinking that the Popeye licence has recently entered the public domain? This would surly mean that the game is now a possibility and I would love to try it. From Nintendo i would also like EarthBound and Mischief Makers.
And as for third party on Nintendo systems; Unirally Body Harvest Space Station Silicon Valley Snowboard Kids Rocket: Robot on Wheels
Well I've already played (and still own) Duck Tales and Darkwing Duck so I know how great they both are, so I would love to play some other Capcom/Disney games.

Re: Review: Donkey Kong Land (Game Boy)
Oh yeah and the save system sucks! Otherwise a great game though, loved the water stages as backgrounds were clear and the music was ace!

Re: UK Retailer HMV Tickled Pink About Upcoming 3DS Launch
A parallax barrier sure would be problematic on a screen intended to be viewed both portrait and landscape.
Re: Review: Snowboard Kids (Nintendo 64)
Just bought this only last week for £3 in a new second hand store thats opened up. Still not played it but looking forward to

Re: Serious Metroid: Other M Bug Requires Total Restart
There was a game freezing bug in Super Paper Mario too, Nintendo quality assurance just ain't what it use to be
Re: Metroid 64 Was This Close to Existing

I want a new Mario Party, with a Wii remote inside a big fluffy dice controler which tells the game what number was rolled when thrown!
Re: Cave Story to Cost 1200 Wii Points
World of Goo cost more than this and turned out to be the best game on WiiWare, if this is anything like as good then I have no problem at all with the price.

Re: Mega Man 10 Box Art Released
Why would a game need box art if it doesn't need a box?
Re: Review: Stunt Race FX (Super Nintendo)
Ace, ace game, but the worst rubber band ai ever!
Re: Make Miyamoto Smile: Show StarFox Love
Not even the first was by Nintendo, not EAD anyway. The only one Nintendo did was the N64 game but I would rather they gave the next one to Treasure.
Re: Talking Point: How Does The DSi LL Compare To Rival Handhelds?
So if this is the new DS Phat, what should we call the original DS now?
Re: It's Official: Big-Screen DSi LL is Confirmed
I didn't get a DSi and I won't be getting this. The next DS better have a much higher resolution like the iPhone as even the lite looks rubbish these days.
Re: Japan to Receive Widescreen DSi
The DS has a low enough resolution as it is, start stretching the current images any more and it will look a mess.

Re: Got Muramasa Questions? Get Muramasa Answers!
Ok, I would like to know exactly what a publishers role is in a game like this and do you get the opportunity to shape the content at all?
