Re: Review: STAR WARS: Knights Of The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords - Always Two, There Are

So how exactly did you complete this for review? Cause theres a game breaking bug and wide reports that it cant even get past half way. Did you somehow not get a buggy port or what? This review and others with no mention of the bug really makes me question your reviews. I bought this based on your review and now can’t finish the game i bought and got Nothing warning me from you. Shame…

Re: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Described As "The First Open-World RPGs In The Series"

@Dilly-Mick thats not what i meant. I meant the generation primary game this generation was sw/sh then we got the remake and a possible beginning to a legends series. There all mainline games if you define that as a game that was the primary release at the time they have a rotation that are all given primary attention and treated as there main game hoping they add legends to the rotation now.

It would be smart to do. They have only max 5 more remakes before they will probably start remaking remakes. And some of those like sun moon and ultra really dont need remade there not that old but by the time they get there maybe. Add in a new legends series to extend development time for the generation primary game and for future remakes would be useful and allow a yearly release…

@Dilly-Mick think that statement was a mistranslation just based on there actions if Legends was a mainline game they wouldn’t be releasing Another mainline game less then a year after it. It is pretty clear that was there “test” game to play around with the gameplay and graphical presentation and test audience reaction before adapting those concepts into the mainline series. Now the popularity and sales of Legends might end up turning it into its own regular sub series of games alongside the mainline and remakes. There are some cool ways future legends games could go maybe even further back in time granted they would need to figure out a different method of capture with pokeballs not being a thing yet.

Re: Reggie Shares Thoughts On How Nintendo Can Prepare For The Switch's Successor

Williamfuchs420

Nintendo just needs to go the refresh route going forward with the Switch. Ie every 3-5 years release a Switch X.0 version thats still compatible with the past library but has advantages of being the latest and greatest. Some games will for a few years still run just not optimized for that version and lets say every other numbered upgrade you need to update or cant play the latest games. Basically a more casual version of how Apple dose the Iphone. Since these are basically just modified tablets it would let them keep up with tech but not force them to over produce and release annually even would continue there trend of using existing tech instead of cutting edge. I upgraded to the oled over a light last year i would probably upgrade to a 2.0 next year if it meant better play be that graphics or more stable framerate or higher tv resolution.

The only thing i fear from a 4k enabled switch is the game download sizes. Put more flash memory or a ss drive into the next system please… micro sd cards max out at a very limited 2gb and those aren’t cheap i got a 1 tb and its maxed out with enough left over to possibly fill two more.

@Anti-Matter guess you’ll never join pc master race then.. physical games haven’t been a thing for decades on pc. Might as well just face it that physical will eventually not be around forever on consoles either. Its ultimately costing more then its worth. Manufacturing costs cut into the pure profits the digital sales bring plus drive up the cost of the consoles themselves with the need to include a media drive of some sort and with nearly all big players going all in on streaming and subscription based systems physical media is gonna die fast.

Not to mention that for most cases the Physical media itself is not playable straight off the disk or cart and still requires a chunky download or update or drm check to run. Your honesty tricking yourself into thinking you physically own something thats really just a physical peice of drm for there online system to check to make sure you can play the digital game on your system. This isn’t always the case of course and allot of Nintendos carts are playable but outside of that for the most part the difference between owning the digital game and the ps4 5 or xbox disk is just a security check file on the disk. That and your able to physically sell the disks witch is the only thing keeping it going as a thing.
