Nintendo's being very careful with their add-on content and dlc. I'd better savor the moment though - there's nothing but more in the future. It's entirely possible there will be no more video games at retail in the future.
@ajcismo I agree, though Iwata has been making some very strange decisions lately. Though, that may not just be him, but with a bunch of higher ups panicking because of financial losses.
Poor Nintendo... Gotta give them credit though for keeping their spirits high. Now they just gotta release those games they said they would release months ago.
I don't know where I stand on the subject either way, whether Wii U should be advertised as a hardcore system or a family friendly system. The way I see it, the hardcore nintendo fans are either waiting for more Nintendo games to come out for it, or already own one. So now the advertisements are for the parents and family type people.
@HeatBombastic Sorry I may seem like I'm trying to start something, but I'm getting pretty annoyed by all of this "false news" as I like to call it. Kickstarter is unreliable information.
Kickstarter related articles barely count as news. It's like saying what could happen in the future, but most likely won't. A lot better news story would be what kickstarter projects actually succeeded. After all, this is a news article; not an advertisement.
Always good news I'm glad all these indies are getting into the Wii U. Depending on the success of Microsoft's next console, the Wii U may be the new go-to console for independant developers.
Two really good arguments by idork99 and Peach64, though I can't help but lean more to idork99's point of view. In the end however, I really fell it's just people's different interests. I enjoy cartoony, brightly colored games, so I have many more Nintendo games and consoles than anything else. I have friends that like dark and realistic games, though, and they think I'm less of a gamer, or have less game experience because of my interest in games. That can get annoying at times.
@demonta4 I remember a bunch of participating Gamestops that held a multiplayer group thingy every Saturday that was near the launch of the 3DS. They stopped doing it right after I got one though I dont' know if it was just in my area or if it was in more places, but I just remember being disappointed
@JohWahlgren I see where you're coming from, but the three points you were focusing on were already obvious from the video. I was looking for some new information, and I got hardly any. I do like that you pointed out that it is controlled by buttons and not stylus
If Nintendo was going the "New" route with Zelda games, that would suggest puzzles that are not as well thought out, a story that is non-existant, and not as much content. As much as we've seen so far, Nintendo has literally JUST changed the camera to the top-down view, and returned a more classic look to Link. That doesn't warrant Nintendo being lazy.

Re: The Monster Hunter Tri Servers Will be Shutdown Today
This is an ominous reminder to me that online servers can't go on forever... Mario Kart DS and Wii servers are bound to shut down soon o_o
Re: Weirdness: Try to Run as Fast as Sonic, For Real, in Sonic Athletics
Hahaha, weird. Probably a lot of kids will go here, majority being the ones who don't really need exercise.
Re: Review: Viewtiful Joe (GameCube)
@Fusion14 You're bad at trolling because it's easy to figure out that you are. I'll stop replying to your comments.
Re: Review: Viewtiful Joe (GameCube)
@Fusion14 Dude... wtf? I knew that. I just don't have a Wii. I have a Gamecube and Wii U.

Re: Nintendo Won't Be Holding A Large-Scale Press Conference At E3 This Year
New Smash Bros? Mario Kart U? Zelda HD? 3D Super Mario? Sounds to me like they could pull of a stage show very effectively...

Re: Aksys Games Announces Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi For 3DS
At first glance it looks boring, but if it's made by the same person that did Zero Escape.... I want in.
EDIT: Oh, I just noticed that it's the same publisher, not the same writer. Oh well, still want in.
Re: These Screens Show What NES Games Would Be Like Today
So true, lol.
I've noticed recently that modern games have made me soft. I'm trying to play through A Link to the Past and it's tough man.

Re: DuckTales: Remastered Focus Testing Reveals That Kids Don't Know Jack These Days
I honestly think it wasn't a very good decision to remake this game. Releasing it on Virtual Console would have made more of a profit.

Nintendo always wins in the end.
Re: Weirdness: These Circle Pad Pro Mods Have Some Wacky Designs

Re: Believe, People - EarthBound Is Coming To The Virtual Console At Last
Probably no release for Wii, Nintendo needs as many Wii U sales as it can get.
Re: New Mode And Items Confirmed For Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
I'm pretty excited for this... I never played the Wii version. Of course, I will play on the natural difficulty with the lower hearts the better.
