Re: Talking Point: The Wii U's Identity Crisis

I don't know where I stand on the subject either way, whether Wii U should be advertised as a hardcore system or a family friendly system. The way I see it, the hardcore nintendo fans are either waiting for more Nintendo games to come out for it, or already own one. So now the advertisements are for the parents and family type people.

Two really good arguments by idork99 and Peach64, though I can't help but lean more to idork99's point of view. In the end however, I really fell it's just people's different interests. I enjoy cartoony, brightly colored games, so I have many more Nintendo games and consoles than anything else. I have friends that like dark and realistic games, though, and they think I'm less of a gamer, or have less game experience because of my interest in games. That can get annoying at times.

@demonta4 I remember a bunch of participating Gamestops that held a multiplayer group thingy every Saturday that was near the launch of the 3DS. They stopped doing it right after I got one though
I dont' know if it was just in my area or if it was in more places, but I just remember being disappointed

@JohWahlgren I see where you're coming from, but the three points you were focusing on were already obvious from the video. I was looking for some new information, and I got hardly any. I do like that you pointed out that it is controlled by buttons and not stylus

Re: New Legend Of Zelda Title Confirmed For Nintendo 3DS, Due Late 2013

If Nintendo was going the "New" route with Zelda games, that would suggest puzzles that are not as well thought out, a story that is non-existant, and not as much content.
As much as we've seen so far, Nintendo has literally JUST changed the camera to the top-down view, and returned a more classic look to Link. That doesn't warrant Nintendo being lazy.
