@LEGEND-MARIOID: Yeah, Black Knight wasn't great, but it was good enough to give me some faith in the series. Granted it was nowhere near as good as a Sonic Adventure, but it was still fun. I'd be surprised if this one just outright sucked.

STOP SAYING, "From the same people who did Black Knight? This is going to be lame." WE GET IT! NOT MANY PEOPLE LIKED THAT GAME!

I think this show would make the best basis for a video game, just because of all the wacky villians and evil plots you can throw Batman and the other heroes up against. It looks like a lot of fun. Cool hand drawn animation, too!

@15: Yeah, I know. It's just that I get a little frustrated that people just account the sudden crappiness of the games solely to the fact the series went 3D, which it wasn't. They were still really fun for a few more games before the series officially jumped the shark. Or, as a video game equivelent, "gave the hedgehog a gun".
And I didn't say the character overload was something I appreciate, 'cause I don't appreciate that.

@Buffalobob: Hey, you just don't like the 3D ones, and that's fine. I'm just saying that's not how everyone thinks. A lot of people obviously like 2D Mario more, possibly a majority, but certainly not 95%!

@Bro2dragons: I don't think so. I don't remember any of the cartoons having one, either. And since Prosody is from the UK, I would think he would be thinking of Sonic the Comic.

@Odd69: Hey, don't put SA1 and SA2 in the same category as (ugh) Sonic 06. And Unleashed. I really hate Unleashed. On the other hand, the SA games are my all-time favorite games! And I guess the old ones are okay, too. I guess.

Eh, kinda hard for me to get hyped up about this, mainly because I always preferred it in 3D. I know, I'm weird, but that's the way I like my Sonic.

@Prosody: Sonic has no origin in the games. I believe the origin you're remembering is from the British Sonic the Comic or possibly Disney Adventures' non-canonical promotional comic.

@Buffalobob: I think you're in the minority, pal. 3D Marios sell very well because most people think they ARE that fun (And most 3D Sonics sold well, too. It only took, like, 2 stinkers to make people forget that).

Heh. Got 400 Wii points I don't know what to do with since I mostly get 1000 point games (I obviously get some lower than that or I wouldn't have this problem). Since I'm probably getting this, this could get it down to 200, and the extra case on the original Ace Attorney could bring it down to 100. My points problem is (mostly) solved!

Hmm...maybe I'll get this. It sounds fun, and though retro-styled graphics usually annoy me, since this was made by an independent developer it's actually impressive (When a big company does it, it just seems like they were being cheap). Dang. I like Bond games. I was hoping to play the best one. Sigh... Oh well! On a side note, why do people act like Earthbound is as unlikely as Goldeneye? Doesn't Nintendo own that franchise?

Cool. I'm getting into Sonic again after Black Knight (yes, I like Black Knight but not Unleashed. Sue me). I played mega collection again recently and made progress in the original. If Sonic 4 is any good, Sonic will be my favorite video game character again (Right now, Mario is my fav). A little off-topic, how do you get Sonic 3 & Knuckles in mega collection, and does it save like Sonic 3 by itself does?

Speed Racer doesn't come with the game?! (Sorry, I was only mildly interested in this game, so I wasn't keeping up with all the info) If this DLC actually happened (which unfortunetaly seems unlikely) I would have a blast having Phoenix objecting Speed Racer to death.

The supporting cast is going phhpt?! That was my favourite part of the series! This seems like a big step in the wrong direction. Also, I think Unleashed showed they can't make a decent Sonic game no matter how many of the Ds it's in. I mean come on, did ANYone actually like the 2D parts of the day levels? They were the worst part of the game! Another thing: In my opinion the best games in the Sonic series were Sonic Adventures 1 & 2 and Sonic Heroes. The 2D ones were really good too, but those were the ones I had the most fun with. Everything after Sonic Heroes (on consoles, at least) was really, REALLY bad.

@Spaceboy: Yeah, SEGA really have to do something really amazing after the abomination that was Sonic Unleashed. That game was all kinds of crap. The day levels were cheap and broken and the night ones were boring!

Well, there is a big, orange, obvious banner across the front that says "collector's edition". I wondered what that meant, 'cause y'know, it was the only one they sold. Now I know. This is kinda cool, actaully. I now own a soon-to-be rare collector's item (Not that I'd ever sell it or anything).

I don't know about the gameplay but the plot looks really REALLY stupid. I think I might pass on this one. I've always been more of a Bugs Bunny fan, anyway.

There's no excuse for pirating new releases. There are several rental services if you're just wanting to try them out (Gamefly, anyone?). Also, if you pirate games there's a chance that a nasty little virus is in it and then it eats your computer. This is perfectly illustrated in an episode of TEEN TITANS.

Well, all of you who are complaining about the VC games, you have to keep in mind that there aren't too many classics left. There's not an unlimited supply of these things. They all had to have been made on old consoles. Just be patient, you'll get all your fav games eventually. Except maybe Goldeneye 007.
