Re: Xenoblade Chronicles is Coming Early, UK & Europe

Traxx

@34: NoE doesn't seperate them for their business. They cover mainly all PAL countries, so this includes African countries and some Asien. To certain extent, even Nintendo Australia is dependent on NoE waiting for games being localized, etc.

Re: Iwata Knows 3DS Launch Line-Up was Lacklustre

Traxx

Makes me sick reading only OoT were a major title so far. Really? A remaster of a game 13 years old?
What about Ghost Reckon? DoA, Street Fighter, Ridge Racer, Mercs 3D? Those are great games.
Pilotwings, PES, SMB, and if you like those things, even Nintendogs, and some other games, whilst not being that great, help keep a good overall quality.
Sure, many of those had some content issues, especially if you count in the high price point of those games, but they were by no means horrorble or bad.

Re: Resident Evil: Revelations Graphics "Will Blow You Away"

Traxx

The Demo wasn't very impressive. Seriously, considering 3DS' limited resolution, not enough power for AA and/or 60 fps with full 3D, 3DS games can never be look crisp and "mind-blowing". I wonder what developers could achieve with the 3DS if they don't implement 3D support on the fly or no 3D at all.

Re: Capcom Will Not Repeat Mercenaries 3D Save File Mistake

Traxx

They weren't testing anything, they aren't the first doing this move, and there was no out cry with all those other games in ALL THE VIDEOGAME HISTORY so far that did the same.

Fine then, don't buy this game. When you finished OoT, RE:R and all other story games collecting dust, I will still have a game I can go back to. Cherio.

Re: Review: Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (3DS)

Traxx

I'm having a blast with this game. You all out there missing a good action game on the go. Why would I want to delete my hard earned highscores and achievements? This game has the potential to last forever; by the time I might consider selling it, it wont be worth lot of money anyway. This thing is a keeper, even more than many story based games (quite the contrary: most story-playthrough games aren't worth a second look).

Re: Review: Dead or Alive: Dimensions (3DS)

Traxx

@62: You will fight the "avatar" of the streetpassed player. The avatar represents your most used character and has a difficulty level reaching from F to S. The level is based on your efforts against other players (Internet or Local) and SpotPass-Events.

Re: Talking Point: The Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D Save File Debate

Traxx

The only thing that troubles me about this debate are:

  • Too many big mouthes out there make it seem you could only play this game once.
  • Too much buss about it will lessen my used sale profit. Keep it quite people, shhhh.
  • There are at least already two other 3DS games with no-delete option: SMB3D and PES20113D, wheres the uproar here?

Re: RE Mercenaries 3D Save Data Will Not Die

Traxx

This fuzz is out of proportion. Amazon.com "reviewers" already bashing this game to the ground while never having touched it.

Seriously, stop writing BS like "so this game can only be played once?!".
Read closely: This game can be played FOREVER...!

RE:TM3D isnt the first and wont be the last game that cannot erase it's data. Crazy fact: there is already another 3DS game that doesnt allow deleting saved data...

Re: RE Mercenaries 3D Save Data Will Not Die

Traxx

Maybe just switching the 3DS continuesly on and off while running RE_Mercs3D will erase data.

@DrKarl: some older games, especially GB games, provide button codes to erase data, sthg like keep holding start/select in a certain game screen, then pressing another button.

Re: RE Mercenaries 3D Save Data Will Not Die

Traxx

Maybe most of you should get the idea behind this game: this isnt about a progressing story, you cannot "miss" anything in your playthrough since this is an mission-based game. The idea behind this is to start any mission again an again to get better and better.
The impact of not being able to erase data or start from the scatch maybe hidden in detail, especialy considering the new skill system: hopefully you are able to completyl overhaul skill sets. If not, your char maybe stuck forever with a gimp skill-set.
The impact on Online profile data is much more obvious: if you trade this game, you will trade your online achievement and profile as well.

Re: Xenoblade's North American Release Chances Take a Knock

Traxx

"Minel appeared on French TV show Nolife to discuss the game and revealed that although Nintendo of Europe wanted to show off Xenoblade Chronicles at E3, Nintendo of America denied it as it didn't want to show off products it would not be selling."

So much for E3 being international expo...

Re: Fils-Aime: "3DS Didn't Launch Prematurely"

Traxx

Anyone complaining about 3DS not having good third party games is IGNORANT. Stop blahblah, and play Street Fighter, Ridge Racer, DOA, TC GR, SMB, Rayman 3D, PES2011. Those are at least good games. Stop making Nintendo consoles a failure for third party developers and buy some of these games, punks.

Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS)

Traxx

I'm very dissapointed. Low visual quality, bad 3D enhancement (lots of massive ghosting, most visual elements are just pushed into the background, even text windows). I'm not too happy with the controls as well. And worst of all, I couldnt register my game at nintendo succesfully, thus I likely wont receive my soundtrack reward. MAD

Re: First Impressions: Luigi's Mansion 2 (3DS)

Traxx

Another game not developed by Nintendo. What the funk are they doing all the time?
@Link79: Who cared about LM back on the GameCube? The critics were right: LM is just a tech demo; short, easy, without challenge and got boring really quickly.

Re: Miyamoto: "3DS Could Be a Convenient Wii U Controller"

Traxx

Oh my gosh, Nintendo can't be serious. All their recent comments and answers to questions adressing features we imagined and experienced since, uhm, at least 10 YEARS, are all like: "Oh, what an intersting idea, we never thought of that!" Epic BS.

What did they present at all this E3 if they dont know straight answers to even basic questions regarding the new console? This thing is rushed.

Re: Pikmin 3 Plucked from Wii to Find a Home on Wii U

Traxx

So, where's the sense in playing Pikmin with touch screen tablet? I played the hell out of ALL pikmin releases so far and I can't come up with any useful idea how the pikmin experience can be seriously enhanced by tablet touchscreen controls... Any grand scale idea (aside from just item selections, etc.) would totally change the game mechanics: Pikmin is NOT a full RTS game, neither is it just puzzle or action. Enlighten me.

Re: New Smash Bros. Announced for Wii U and 3DS

Traxx

Booouuuh. Smash Bros clearly is a stationary console franchise. They do a big mistake there.
From a marketing standpoint, it's actually not that dumb limit the full Pokemon experience to handhelds. If the they unlock Smash Bros to handheld, Nintendo's home consoles will lose a big system seller in the long run...

Re: Mario Kart 3DS Video Slipstreams Behind Screenshots

Traxx

(Man, NL is really slow right now... you cant have more traffic than...hm... IGN for instance).

I'm not that thrilled by the new Mario Kart. The basic hardware shortcomings of the 3DS are becoming more and more obvious - jagged etches everywhere, even some muddy textures although they just using comic relief/plain textures.
On the other hand, it seems they will stick more to actual karts - well, except for the u-boat and glider thing...

Re: Review: Excitebike (3DSWare)

Traxx

I'm just unable to get used to this game. I clearly prefer the WiiWare Remake, since game mechanics (like landing, whellie, turbo, etc.) are not the same at all!

Re: Review: FAST - Racing League (WiiWare)

Traxx

@TheDarkness: Maybe you go back to GX for yourself and have a look how F-zero crash system actually works. Hint: its not the same system FAST is utilizing... and I think it's very rude telling I were a liar. So, no use argueing with you, good luck in life with that attitude.
