@MrFox well that’s what they did for the PS4 a couple of years back they just ported the Dracula X chronicles version so if they do it again that’s my assumption.

This is fantastic news. I remember playing Shikigami 3 on Wii and that game rocked. Let’s hope we get 3 and yes this is a day one purchase.

@MrFox my failure is why it detracted from the gameplay, you have this game with beautiful art style, a nice gothic theme, haunting bosses, and a game Itself was serious. But padding that silly voice track to it, detracted from those factors that added to a wonderful atmospheric game, imagine bad voice acting in Super Metroid.

@MrFox yeah but nostalgia is a poison and can easily blind us. I am not saying I am impervious to it but I think it can blind us. And used to prey on people with bad works. Ready Player One of the worst books ever written but it used people nostalgia to trick them into thinking the book is something it’s not,.

@MrFox I see your point but to me that voice in SOTN was a blight in an otherwise great game, the new dub elevated that game for me so yes it did hurt me.
100 percent agreed om Zero Wing, run fact G4 did a top ten worst games and Zero Wing was km there due to the intro. The game journalist on there slammed the people who ,ad Ethan list cause they said Zero Wing itself as you a new I got know is a great game despite the stupid intro, that intro hurt that game so I agree,

@MrFox oh yeah for sure, but personally I would like that track buried, cause it’s not needed IMO. I see your point but it’s just a really bad voice acting. If we say that about modern day games with bad voice acting than we don’t give those a pass right?

@MrFox yeah but I don’t let nostalgia blind me. Look I played Resident Evil back in 96 and that game at the time blew me away, but hell I would never want to hear that voice track again. Same with Symphony of the night, I played it in 97 when it was released and it was the same thing, I knew it was bad then and it’s bad now.

@Zeldafan79 I enjoyed the first Lord of Shadows, it had a solid story that added a new twist to the Castlevania formula and boy the plot twist at the end was freaking awesome.

I agree though we need a new Castlevania game.

@Cia Agreed I never understood why folks wanted the original terrible voice acting for Symphony of the Night. It’s horrendous, and it was right in the heels of other horrible voice acting like Megaman 8 or the original Resident Evil.

@Zochmenos Mercury steam ain’t to bad but than again I enjoyed the first lords of shadow but yeah I think this will be a good game.

This game looks fantastic, playing through Fusion to get prepared for this game!

Sorry but I would put the msx castlevania on the bottom. Yes 2 has its issues but it’s far better than that garbage MSX version of Casrlevania.

@johnvboy Agreed and remember Camelot did the same thing with Tennis Aces free characters, so I expect these updates to last a while.

I have the three Namco Museum collections on Switch, I don’t need these although if they bring the awesome Ms. Pac-Man I am in.

@Daniel36 what’s even more interesting is the anime is based off a light novel series, thst in itself is based off of actual dnd sessions thst we’re recorded and people read.

@Picola-Wicola the kids castle is that the one where you are in darkness if I remember correctly? And I agree, I like world don’t get wrong it’s a fantastic game, but I get it’s a fun adventure as opposed to Mario 3, grand epic scope.

I mean in thst you travel from the grassland essentially into the desert than across the sea to a land of giants, and then into the skies and across the ice and pipes into hell itself. And the power ups are far more varied and experimental even to this day in Mario 3 compared to World,

@Stocksy so a new Kirby, new Metroid, several Pokémon games, a Mario and rabbits game, BOTW2, and much more, plus the slew of Indy and third party support is the bare minimum? I don’t buy you being a Nintendo fan, since we are getting a slew of games and more than what I mentioned, it’s not being an apologists it’s a fact, and it seems for whatever reason you get bored easily. Sad really.
