@BloodNinja Exacttlt some services are not worth it for some folks. I see exactly where you are coming from. As for the nes games, what’s great is they have allowed my fifteen year old son and I to play o,d games together. Because of that service he and I have an absolute love for both Mario Bros. And Balloon Fight. pro tip: Never play the vs version of Balloon fight it’d garbage. hope your day is going well my friend.

@CharlieGirl cause some people don’t like emulation in the none official.Mind you there is nothing wrong. With the ever drive cartridges but there is a certain convenience for he ability to play an old game on your switch on the go. But then again that goes into murky territory depending how said person uses switch, as some don’t take it off the dock, others do, myself I use it both on and off, some have lites etc etc

@BloodNinja I don’t mind the slow drip as there are people, not if games I can play and plenty in compilations as well. Not saying I would not like more constant releases, but let’s be honest, this is part of an online that in itself my friend is not thst expensive, my son, my fiancée, my sister, my self and two alternate acoustic to use a switch family account for 35 bucks, that’s not a bad deal IMO. The game son the service are a bonus IMO.

Re: Soapbox: Life Is Strange On Nintendo Switch Signals Better LGBTQ+ Rep To Come

Themagusx1

@BloodNinja Exactly. And you can look at other elements of the game, and see how it blends. For example Mass Effect, I am a straight Hispanic Male, I choose Ashley as my romance, but if some one else wants to do something else that works. Now let’s zoom out and again it all comes down to choice I’m not terms of the game itself but what you play. Also many games don’t have sexuality as an issue and should not. The last thing I want in a Mario game is social issues of anytime, what I want is solid and excellent platforming and a surrealistic imaginative world to romp through,

@Dr_Corndog Exactly. It gives me so,etching new to try. A d let’s be honest, I think Nintendo would sooner charge extra for earthbound as opposed to it being part of the service. Look at what happened last fall with the English release of the first fire emblem.

@Dr_Corndog I agree. There are some really good gems on the SNES. I get so tired of people whining about an optional free service that’s part of a online service. My fiancé decided and I have discovered some, great gems thst we play together like Magical Drop 2.

Re: Nintendo Expands Its Switch Online SNES Service With Three More Titles

@BloodNinja Oh yeah it’s a fun game. I think that’s what I like about this service is that they show us games we ha e not played. Like I said in previous post my fiancé and I got hooked magical drop 3, and she and I love playing it. I think that’s how I look at the service.

As for Valis we need another game or revboot. There are four games(we never talk about thst pornographic crap of Valis thst was released).

Re: Nintendo Expands Its Switch Online SNES Service With Three More Titles

@BloodNinja ok I see your point but a lot of those games belong to other companies. And people wishing for Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy on the service, that ain’t gonna happen. We both know that if those games show up they will be individual releases not even part of a compilation. Games like turtle in time that’s probably a logistic nightmare, and aside from Nintendo Games, it’s hard to get those from third parties I am sure. Your statement is valid with Nintendo games, but other games nit so much. Also Claymates is a pretty solid game.

Re: Nintendo Expands Its Switch Online SNES Service With Three More Titles

@BloodNinja funny you accuse me of over generalizations I. Our other discussions but yet you say they are not even trying? So why are they not trying? Have you played Claymates, are you not wanting to try some new games? It’s a bonus service attached to our online service, I don’t why it makes people so mad. Or are you wanting the overrated Earthbound? ,
