I haven't finished all the mainline re games yet but I feel like they kind of shot themselves in the foot killing off wesker In re5 they just could have rationed him out through the series and have him in occasionally on some of the games while the others have other villians.

@Max_the_German I see what your saying but where would you even start with that thought thes so many popular mods for skyrim plus they would have to test them to officially include them i suppose with the og doom games it doesn't take much becuase of their size and their probably guaranteed to run well.

@Max_the_German doom 1 and 2 don't prove it like you said those were shipped with the game so although they are mods they have been authored by bethesda meaning they are part of the base game and not mods anymore where as the mod browser is completely missing as nintendo don't allow mods.

@Doomcrow tbf I think the mods is more of a nintendo issue and the graphics definitely are better than the s1 but the lack of 60fps is a joke.

An almost 15 year old game not running at 60fps is a joke.

@Gangraena im massively knowledgeable about tech but doesn't the switch 2 have a similar chip to switch 1 but more powerful couldn't they have made it backwards compatible without a translation layer?

@Solid_Python i never realised it had any issues as i never had any problems with the ps4 games i had but it sucks that the is still games that dont work well on it.

I don't know if the xbox one games on series x games were similar where the was issues.

@SupDan I don't really understand the processes of backwards compatibility but im pretty sure the ps5 and xbox series x/s dont have any hardware of the previous generation in them but work perfectly fine i don't understand why nintendos having these issues.

@FrenchVaniIIuxe fair enough but the rest are netflix made.

@FrenchVaniIIuxe the Irishman, the knives out series, kpop demon hunters and all quiet on the western front are all good netflix made films imo.

@maddox121 tbf pc handhelds are niche and the steam machine is only sold on the steam website so when you consider that 6 million is pretty impressive not to mention you could play all the switch 1 exclusives on it via emulator.

@Friendly then don't watch them or read the article its not like there saying you cant enjoy the game becuase the graphics aren't as good as every other version of the game they are just analysing games if you still enjoy the game thats great even if objectively it should be in a better state.

@BaldB3lper78 thats quite reductive view of what they said its not just hair quailty its also lighting and textures that are worse the lighting changes are especially bad.

Also why wouldn't you want a better version when you've paid several hundred quid for a console and the devs are half arsing a game so bad that its missing graphical features that were present on a console released in 2006 if pepole dont call it out devs will continue half arsing ports till the end of time.
