@MeloMan - The 7th Saga (Elnard in Japan) was developed by Produce [the developers behind the first Super Adventure Island and Brain Lord], not Quintet; but it was published by Enix.

I hope someone from Square-Enix is reading all these comments.

This was one of the first ever SNES titles I've played when I was little (maybe the first, but considering I also played Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart, I can't remember exactly). This was the first time I've ever experienced the NES and Famicom Disk System Mario classics. Fun compilation, this one.

Great review, Corbie. I remember playing the first two Mario Party games a lot with my cousins when I was little.
Welcome to NintendoLife, CHRISZ0626. As for which Metroid game you should start out with, I (and I'm sure many others would agree) highly recommend Super Metroid. It's got a map, and it has a lot more action feautres and is a lot more enjoyable than the first game, imo.

Three years ago Square-Enix released ActRaiser (Quintet/Enix) on the VC. You would think that they would release the other Quintet/Enix line-up of games, too; but it hasn't happened. The VC is a chance for some to catch up with and experience the classics (for instance: some, like myself, own an SNES console, but not everyone does), and I feel they're blowing a big opportunity by not releasing them [Quintet/Enix games].
Sometimes I worry that Square completely forgot that they merged with Enix less than a decade ago.

Terranigma has been on my wishlist for a long time (it's right at the top).

I'm still a bit uncertain about getting the SNES version. On one hand, if I did buy it I would finally own a version of the game and not play it solely whenever I come to visit my relatives in Italy. On the other hand, I'm a bit worried about whether the SNES version is gonna be as good as the PSX version or not (too much fondness for the PSX version).

Good review, Jamie.
I only played the PlayStation version (back when I still lived in Italy and when I come to visit) of this game (which was only released in Europe and Australia; why wasn't it released in America, too? ), and I thought it was a great and underrated, imo, game. The visuals in that version were splendid, and the soundtrack marvelous. I still need to beat Hard mode, though.
