Probably just the pain of being an early adopter, although I do question some of Nintendo's business practices and their decision to limit SW2 devkits.
I've owned every Nintendo console since the SNES and have been generally happy with most of them.
I am a highly technical person so I understand the hardware limitations but there have been some incredibly confusing decisions made by Nintendo with the Switch 2.
DK Bananza is alright but nothing particularly amazing or innovative, same for Metroid Prime 4.
Mario Kart World I have barely played for more than a couple of hours with my missus, I've tried on my own but quickly grow bored.
I can't stand 30fps titles so Split Fiction or CP2077 in handheld, let alone a 2160p/60 display isn't a great experience so I end up buying or playing it on PC (I already own CP2077).
Same for Yookla-Replaylee - bought on Switch 2 but am incredibly disappointed by its visual quality and it running at 30fps, which is extremely irritating for someone who always games at 60-240Hz on 1440p or 2160p displays.
Also, what's up with all the weird Hentai and Waifu "games" and mountains of slop, shovelware and blatant rip-offs of AAA titles that are designed to dupe customers on the eShop?
I really don't understand Japanese sexualised character art, especially in genres like shmups so I find this pretty baffling but I guess sex sells no matter how odd I find it.
I am also really not interested in JRPGs or odd titles like No More Heroes or Deadly Premonition which seem to be popular Switch 2 genres.
Nintendo customer service just told me to check product information before purchase when I asked for a refund for Yookla-Replaylee despite them never listing resolution and framerate for any of their titles, which I think is extremely poor business practice - should've just bought it on PC for slightly less money but for now I'm stuck with the substandard Switch 2 port.
The number of Switch 1 titles that look terrible on Switch 2 because they don't use DLSS to upscale the original resolution is beyond a joke.
Devs doesn't have access to a Switch 2 devkit to create a native version of their games like Turbo Overkill or Prodeus, which I love on PC but look pretty terrible on Switch 2, yet Nintendo just expect you to be happy with that?
Come on Nintendo, you can do better than this - I spent over £500 on this console and most of the titles I've purchased are Switch 1 titles of varying and generally substandard graphical fidelity thanks to your confusing business practices.
Doom 2016 and Eternal for example are rough as hell on Switch 2 as they target Switch 1 hardware and look like someone smeared Vaseline all over my display, even if we just got a framerate unlock it would be better than nothing even if less than ideal but I paid £8.99 each for the privilege of being massively disappointed coming from a PC that can run it at 1440p/>120 or 2160p/60 easily in at least ultra detail.
Same with titles like Journey To The Savage Planet, it looks horrendous on Switch 1 and therefore looks far worse on Switch 2, which I again paid £10 for but is visually intolerable to the point I can't play it and revert to the PC version, which I can currently buy for less than £5.
I understand the device TDP is a limiting factor but come on guys, you're wasting my time, patience and money.

Re: Talking Point: Six Months Since Launch, How Would You Rate Switch 2?
Don't know about that tbh.

I'm pretty disappointed in Switch 2 so far tbh.

Re: Turbo Overkill: Ultimate Edition Gets A Surprise Release On Switch
Jeez man.
What IS up with Nintendo holding out on supporting devs???
Such bizarre behaviour.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Receives Another Update On Switch 2, Here Are The Patch Notes
@Pillowpants
I'm not sure about that.
Internal storage has a lot faster read times than comapred to gamecards which can be pretty important in intense open world games.
Re: Nintendo Switch 2 System Update 20.3.0 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
@Navi Sleep only via the controller I'm afraid.
Exactly like SW1.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Donkey Kong Bananza For Switch 2?
@SuperRetroArt Cheers dude.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Donkey Kong Bananza For Switch 2?
@the_beaver It's £58.99 on the eShop, which is the cheapest I can find in the UK.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Donkey Kong Bananza For Switch 2?
THIS is the new experience I'm waiting for (even though it looks suspiciously like it's running on a version of the Mario Odyssey engine).
Why Nintendo didn't release both a Mario Kart and DK bundle on launch day is beyond me.
