Dang, this version is god-awful. I have it on physical and homestly the 3D graphics suck and are distracting from the game, i would never pay for it again, 3DS eShop version is far superior

Piracy doesn't make a console succesfull thats obvious, but it does make a good boosts in sales, a big one.

Alot of people, maybe not in the U.S. but countries like Mexico, Brazil, Chile, (pretty much all Latin America) alot of people in these countries can't afford a console and multiple games, SO believe it or not, A LOT of them wait until a console is hackeable/has access to free retail games and when they see they CAN buy the console and expend zero $$$ you know what they do? (or did before) they rush to buy that console or consoles, about %40 of Wii's sold consoles came from people like these, piracy sure does kill software sales, but it boosts hardware sales bigtime.. I hate piracy but this is a real thing, most of you don't believe it cause you live in U.S or UK, but piracy is a big, big thing in my country and others.

And No, learn2read. Homebrew didn't make the wii popular, Piracy did. Pirated retail games, free games (Of course GOOD and awesome games helped it too, along with motion controls made it popular)
And gee, think about it, someone even said it before, the amount of games bought per wii console (meaning, how many games a person with a wii console ended up buying, AKA attach rate i believe) was low, why? cause games were not selling as much, people either didn't buy games or they pirated them, simple!

Yo guys.. i think they are taking AGES to put N64 games on the eshop because they are working really hard on making them run on 60 FPS and in HD, i believe that is incredibly hard, so we should just wait more
and they had N64 on wii cause that was alot easier.... games didnt need a huge resolution bump to look good in Wii's 480p... now... 1080p is a whole other story

@JQuest Oh man.... they could use a star, a giant mushroom, infinite redshells or blueshells and bullet bills, even increase the bullet bill speed. All that in like 5 seconds
They either annoyed everyone or made the game freeze from so many items...

I have the homebrew channel on both my Wii and Wii U (Wii mode) but to execute homebrews.
GUYS, like it or not, piracy is what made the Wii so popular, and the X360 too, atleast here in Mexico... they sold like crazy because everyone could have free games and buy them right off the flea market.
Maybe... if Wii U gets piratted as the Wii, it could go big and success?

Maybe metroid didn't sell that well before, but nowadays people would rather buy a Metroid over a Donkey Kong, because Metroid is violent and is a FPS (Prime series) so... Yeah Metroid would do better than DK nowadays

@ScorpionMG Well... here in Mexico Nintendo Wii U games like 3d world or NSMBU cost you $1000, wich is like $70 according to my crappy calculations.
Even the Wii Nintendo selects are like $500, about $40

Games are priced TOO DARN HIGH, i mean, buying 5 Wii U $60 Games will cost you even more than the console itself, what sense does this make??
I think that if games were priced lower, say, $40 for console games, more people would buy them and that would equal better sales.

@Twiilight_Prince Pretty sure TMJ was a game made initially by Daniel, i don't have any knowledge about who incorporates HullBreach studios but my annoyance is that games related to Daniel Gump (AKA Hullbreach) usually doesn't get to become actual finished games.

@Dak908 i don't want this game to be 2D, but i think the horror can be done in 2D, take a look at Lone Survivor (PS3, Vita, PC) it's scary as hell to play for me

Oh god, i was watching on my ipod touch in portrait and when the lighting hit the guy i thought it ripped off his head and that he was bleeding (again, watched this on an ipod touch, its so small for me to notice)
i swear my heart stopped there... then i watched it again more closely and realized his head just shrunk, that was an scary moment..

I hope all the negative feedback about people's opinions here change the developer's heart so they can switch again from 2D back to 3D, i doubt the development has even started so itcould be a good idea to make it 3D

This all sounds great and all....
But 2D? that's... awful, i don't know how it will work out.
And 2016? This is a 2D game, why would it even take that long? most people will move on eventually...
i really hope this doesn't turn out like The Mystical Journey (TMJ) eh Daniel Gump?, that game has been in development for about 6 years for the DSi browser THEN the 3DS browser, but nothing still.
