PS5: After finally clearing up Sifu’s true ending last week (that last boss is such a difficulty spike), I’ve moved on to Space Marine 2 - the original Space Marine is what moved me to get a PS3, so I’m looking forward to getting more involved with this one
Switch: still moving about 3 inches in Minish Cap before getting stuck - loving the atmosphere and style of the game so far but I’ve trained my brain far too much on open ended Zelda, so going back to ‘one solution’ Zelda is difficult!
Switch: still on Minish Cap - enjoying the Kinstones but everytime I feel like I’m progressing I run into a wall about 10 minutes later so quite slow going at the moment
PS5: Sifu - still working on lowering my age and trying to beat the final boss
Immortals of Aveum - having fun with this at the moment - great feeling to the combat (even if it is just reskinned guns) and the lore is really interesting. Shame people would get turned off by the technical issues and very slow opening
Switch: still playing The Minish Cap and enjoying my time with it, even if some bits are a bit obscure (like the button to Kinstone trade!). On the 4th temple now
PS5: played a bit of Sifu, levelling up and trying to get a better run but still can’t beat the last boss
Started up Immortals of Aveum - after a shaky start with a lot of exposition, I’ve started to really like the characters, world and combat mechanics
Nintendo Switch: Currently abroad for hols so started up The Minish Cap on the plane - at the fire temple so far and loving the animation and pixels! Not so loving having to swap my items every couple of minutes…
Also playing Thank Goodness You’re Here as I felt I should support the company - the jokes fly out so fast that it’s quite difficult to play much more than an hour at a time and I’m not convinced a game is the best medium for it but I’m enjoying it so far
PS5 is paused at the moment as I couldn’t bring it with me!
@Ganner yeah, the museum is certainly the toughest to keep the deaths down in! I’m having a great time with it now that I’ve figured out the parrying rhythm!
Nintendo Switch: final level on The Messenger. I’ve enjoyed my time with it (especially the writing, graphics and music), but I’m ready to be done with it PS5: final boss on Sifu - playing through the first levels again first to bring my age down
Haven’t been able to play as much this week as have had other events on and just about to start a new job:
Switch: The Messenger - at the most frustrating point of any Metroidvania - I’m out of available roots, so just backtracking through them all again to see what I’ve missed. Trying to do it without using the hints system
PS5: Sifu - really gotten into the combat system now - got to the CEO and played through the levels again to reduce my age. Anyone know if Sekiro would be a good game to play next as in this combats mood
Switch: The Messenger - clearing up the last few optional challenges before I face the final section - not sure I’ve liked the second half as much as the first but will try to 100%
PS5: Sifu - on to The Tower - really feel like I’m in the flow with the combat at the moment
PS5: After 115 hours, I’ve finally platinumed Horizon Forbidden West and completed all the arena and machine strike. Now moving on to Sifu and trying to promise myself I don’t need to 100% it!
Switch: continuing with my play through of The Messenger

After some busy weeks moving to London, I’ve had a bit of time this week to not only play some games but remember to write this comment!
Switch: still on The Minish Cap - finally completed the bit I was stuck on… only to get stuck on the puzzle two puzzles on… but we persevere!
PS5: finally completed the first runthrough of Sifu (that final boss is tough!) after replaying all the levels to bring my age down

Switch: 100% The Messenger - good fun, not too sure on the pacing. Going to rest it for a while before going on the DLC
Florence: completed on a train ride - very sweet game with some lovely graphics and music but I need to know more!
Now I’m figuring out what to play on my holibobs - probably Super Mario Sunshine or The Minish Cap
PS5: haven’t had much time at home this week so still on the final boss of Sifu but managed to bring my age down quite a bit

Switch - worked out what to do on The Messenger and on the home stretch now - 2 more power seals to go!
PS5 - Sifu - replayed the museum a couple of times to lower my age
