NL - this game now has a listing stateside. It is due this coming week (the same day as ZaCisa, Armillo and 3 others). Of course, Guacamelee is due the day before. And yes, the title remains unchanged, though, disappointingly enough, despite censoring my post exclaiming excitement over the game's release, Miiverse admins deleted said entry. The claim was I had violated their code of conduct, to which I immediately appealed their decision. Seems strange that Nintendo can list the game but we can't mention it. The dark premise of playing as a villain, coupled with some cool environmental effects, 5 player multiplayer and single screen mayhem has me itching to play this. I haven't played a new 'Bomberman' since the Dreamcast version.
Smartest move Nintendo could pull this coming winter holiday season? Smash and MK8 in one hardware bundle, at, say, 379.99$ (US). I could imagine that kind of bundle flying off the shelves.
Lana and Midna looks like a 2 player scene. None of the villains look playable. Darunia is a likely male character, as are Groose and the Ordon chief. Saria may rear her head, but Ruto (or another Zora) is inevitable. Midna looks like she'll have playable sections without Wolf Link. I'm still hoping for a seperate Sheik character, as well as a seperate adult Midna. More adult Midna couldn't be a bad thing.
I don't remember who said it, but the writing's on the wall. Japan's gaming public was content to ride the 3DS / PS3 train out and now that Sony's pushing the still lacking PS4 (Infamous and Killzone don't seem like games the Japanese would buy en masse). I'm all for Nintendo picking up another's losses, but I still want to see their market succeed. If Wii U picks up enough, that's great. If it takes both Sony and Nintendo, then there's that option too.
I wouldn't bet on anything by anyone from the Last Light team to ever arrive on Wii U. After all the delays with Kickstarted projects, I think console gamers are going to give up interest in the whole thing. It's good for PC, but never seems to really come together for consoles. I'm still surprised Shovel Knight is out here tomorrow, but when's Europe getting it? Where's Tengami and Teslagrad, both of whom have been out elsewhere for months? Is Pier Solar ever going to deliver? I know at least 2 people that have been waiting for their Genesis carts and for over 18 months now. Kickstarter was a fad. I hope it passes soon and that the developers that deserve it find ways to get their games made. I'm just sick of being screwed around. Then again, being a Nintendo fan, I should be used to it. I guess it all comes down to trust. As in, despite any delays, I still trust Nintendo's product. These devs need to earn that and by setting unreachable release windows, it doesn't help inspire that trust.
Call me crazy, but the witch in Hyrule Warriors looks suspiciously like the cover girl, if she had been possessed by Vaati.. If I were a betting man, I'd say that rather nefarious little Picori is going to play a role, maybe even as a large as Zant's in Twilight Princess. Who knows, Ganon may simply feature a cameo. We all know how Koei Tecmo (it's weird) likes sequels.
While XType Plus is a game after my own heart (arcade shooters make up over 200$ of my Wii Shop purchases. Soldier Blade, Contra 3, Gradius, 1942, you name it, I've probably got it. And more on older systems too) but I love the creepy premise of Master Reboot. It has that Omikron feel to it, but even creepier and in first person. I don't usually care about first person games, whether shooters or not, but Master Reboot seems cool. Not even remotely interested in Kickbeat. Not the flexible female, not the smooth moves, not the quirky combination of dancing and fighting. I remember playing God of War 3. I got to the first gong smashing rhythm level. I quit playing and got rid of the game the next day.
20$ for Legends? I'd bite, if my funds weren't reserved for Shovel Knight. Then again, for that price, I'd consider clearing AC3 off my HDD for AC4. I'd keep both, space isn't the issue, but having two Assassin's Creed games? Seems kind of pointless. I would always get rid of old sports games before updating to the newer version, why not with yearly franchises in other genres?
With alot of European retail titles getting special editions (dual disc Bayonetta and Pandora's Tower are most memorable, not to mention a MUCH more attractive MK8 deal) I'm glad to live in North America, what with all the indie goodness. Aside from the Last Story and Xenoblade Chronicles, I've spent alot more time playing indies than retail.
It's not as different as you think. Merchandising is merchandising. PERIOD. Hello Kitty Street Fighter dolls doesn't diminish Street Fighter? It's humourous to think that, if Nintendo lends their trademarks to another's works that another wouldn't lend to their works. Wii U is STILL SELLING LIKE CRAP. I could guess, and probably pretty acurately, that 20-30% of the users who post on these boards actually owns a Wii U. If the Wii U was selling proper, this wouldn't be happening. But, again.. Wii U is STILL SELLING LIKE CRAP. PERIOD.

Re: Mario Kart 8 Speeds Past The Two Million Copies Sold Barrier In Less Than A Month
Naturally, at that price, there would be extras. I'd say ditch the wheel and give two Wiimote Plus controllers.
