That the Switch should've had its right stick closer to the screen so it doesn't get in the way of your thumb trying to reach B! (even more to the left than this other console)
@1UP_MARIO Nah... I've only played 2-3 of those (actually 2). Not interested in the rest. But those are huge numbers, Nintendo knows how to make money, that's a fact.
@RupeeClock Is it that bad on the MMX LC? I played MMX there just fine (but it's not a shmup or a precision platformer, so not as noticeable for a casual playthrough. Maybe for speedruns and no hit runs...)
@Bucky Then (many) people would have their Metroid fix/burnout and wouldn't buy Dread. The same goes for GB Pokemon and many other series (even specific subgenres)
Is there any important difference between this and Rush Rally 3 using the top-down view? I haven't picked any yet but I want one... Should I grab the third one? (Since, besides the top-down view, you can play with a "traditional" camera...)
@EmirParkreiner I don't have those controllers, but I do have the flipgrip and by the looks of them I can say 99% sure they'll fit (I really don't see any reason why they wouldn't)
@Realness It depends... games like Mega Man, Pang & The Binding of Isaac, to name a few, restrict the direction you can shoot by design. Including that wouldn't be a QOL feature. It's by design.
But I'm talking out of my ass, I haven't played this game and you may be right. I just wanted to point that out
@Cyz Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I find the 2-items challenges and the 15 minutes run interesting and probably lots of fun.
Does the Switch at least keep track of your best times in "extra" for each category? (for all items and each combination of 2 items) That would do! ittle dew?
WARNING!!!! The game is awesome BUT it crashes on Switch during the last part of the game. Get it on other platform! They don't know how to fix it (they should remove it from the eshop tbh). Don't trust mainstream reviews that clearly didn't get far into the game. You won't be able to even fight the last boss.
@gearhound Playing for score is so fun in this game. I'd love to have an online leaderboard but you can upload your scores to the forum http://shmups.system11.org/. We have some friendly competition around there
@FX102A How do you set up the rapid fire option and map the charge shot to another button? I do this in every ACA Neo Geo but don't know how to in this game

Re: Review: Ray'z Arcade Chronology - M2 Delivers Fine Ports Of Taito's Trilogy
There are 36 SAVE STATES slots in this game i.e. the most powerful training mode there is, so that "con" shouldn't be there.
It would be nice to have stage select and such, yes, but you only need one playthrough to create your own custom stage select.
Re: Build Your Own Fiendish Levels In Blue Fire's New Free DLC, Out Next Week
So... a Mario Maker 3D could happen! (I'll grab this in the meantime)
Re: Feature: How One Small Company Is Making The Switch Joy-Con You Always Dreamed Of
Why don't they do ergonomic shells instead? THAT I would buy

And d-pad, of course.

Re: Review: Cathedral - A Fine Metroidvania Which Can't Quite Match The Best Of The Genre
@CritiCon9 Well... Some games are (thankfully) made for more experienced or stubborn players.
Nintendo makes games for everyone, adding some OPTIONAL depth and layers for experienced players. Appealing to everyone.
But sometimes you want a challenge, right away, not completing the "playable" base game to unlock the tough part.
I'm sure you feel the same way about games that are too easy for you
Re: Best Nintendo Switch Metroidvania Games
@Andors Celeste is a pure platformer. Nothing metroidvania in it.
It's amazing, but not a metroidvania

@YANDMAN Handheld mode probably. I buy every shmup I can on Switch for that very reason. (And I play at home)

@Cyz Do you know if there are achievements on the Switch version? It's not that important but it's nice to check the challenges you complete
