@Switching forgot Pokémon company is on a tight budget that would explain the last bunch of 3DS and Switch games quality lol.

@Dr_Lugae Funny enough I got it on my 3DS, thing did have some official Gba VCS but they never made it buyable on Eshop, I already brought the original cartridge back in 2005, why do I have pay again when it's nearly the same price when it was new? 21 years on and with no improvements whatsoever, when I just get it on a 3ds which plays it perfectly, it's a great game sure but game freak are ripping people off with this.

@LastFootnote I mean it's not like there gonna patch it or anything that would never happen, I guess spending $5 on a upgrade is worst thing ever lol good lord.

@RickStar it's still a awful for a GBA rom, especially if you want both...I'm not keen on renting but for the same price you get a lot more games and value, GBA roms $20 a piece is a rip off.

@Cyrax77 Because these are so easily to get on any other system/mobile devices, your paying $40 for a pair of roms with no extras or even any modern features rip Pokémon Home this has gotta be the easiest $20 Pokémon has ever made...fact there charging other versions of you want a different language lol again even 3D All stars had all languages and everything on a cartridge sucks Nintendo stopped selling it everywhere granted while there is a physical option for this but it's just a code in a box, couldn't do a single cart for a few megabytes?

I guess people love wasting money especially if it's Pokémon lol.

@RickStar Super Mario Land 2 on 3ds Eshop was only $4 let that sink in...$4 is 4 times cheaper than this $20 Switch rip off.

@Dazman Problem is, you would think they bundle both roms at least or added Pokémon Home support, this as bare ones as you can get, meanwhile Rayman 30th anniversary is the same price and you get everything, a history section, all versions of Rayman 1 and dlc, enhancements and it's all on a cartridge not download code I thought Ubisoft was more money hungry then Game Freak.

@GoproGO Thing is Mario Galaxy was a actual remaster and it's not something you play on your phone easily, even tho you can play GBA games on basically anything, cus it's Pokémon, Game Freak are making easy money just sticking a rom onto a single release, no effort required...ya know I think Wii games on the Eshop on Wii U cost less then this.

As cool as it is, I kinda think there ramping too many ideas into one movie, I mean you already got Bowser Jr and Rosalina it would be better if they did a movie with Wario taking the main stage kinda like they did with Shadow in Sonic 3, either way it's gonna be interesting how they explain where Wario came from since he's not Mario's cousin despite looking like him.

@Pillowpants I don't think there is any Pokémon home support this time unlike the 3DS Pokémon VC games.

@Anti-Matter Yeah since that's a remake of gen 1 too just it's a lot newer and has stuff from Pokémon Yellow 🟡 there are some cool details about these Gba remakes but Let's go Pikachu is arguably better.

@JayJ Still can be played on a 3DS with Red Viper, 3D effect is great too tho I agree aside from Wario Land they don't feel like full finished games tho VB's life span was cut extremely short even Mario Clash feels a mini game mode that was meant to be part of a full game an actual Mario Land game.

@lyle_catcliffe I don't get why we haven't got Wario Land 1 and 2 cus that's another great game, we got VB Wario Land, 3 and 4 also World bit of a odd way to release them...

Already got and playing Fire Red on my 3DS.

@Duncanballs bear in mind your have to change the battery inside the cartridge so it can actually save.

No one should pay £17.99 for a single version of a Gba rom, even on Wii U it wasn't this stupidity expensive 🫰

@thenikdavies Same as others said, seems a lot like the toys you could of got in the 90s, even the Simpsons back then made a joke about it with Funzo, feel they could of made something more impressive for this price.

@PessitheMystic Doesn't help you can play it on 3DS thanks to homebrew and it's actually better then the original and this option of playing it, especially if you got a new 3DS the 3D effect is good, plus changing the red colour helps too, I don't get why Nintendo is leaving the colour changing option for later update...not to mention having the option to play it in 2D cus it's still playable much like the 3DS 3D effect the games don't require it.

Say what you want about the Mario 3D all-stars collection but at least all 3 games and soundtracks were on the cartridge no download code and it had all languages too, no extra charge if you want to play Sunshine in German or Japanese.

Why do the Pokémon company gotta be so greedy? Might as well rename themselves team rocket company, I already got Fire Red on my modded 3DS, I ain't getting this.

Think I'll stick with Rayman 30th anniversary instead.

@Anti-Matter So you complain Paper Mario lacks appealing character design and aesthetic environment yet you say Sticker Star is your favourite the most bland game in the series, you ever played Thousand year door? That game is full of great characters and designs not to mention a great story and gameplay.

@DanijoEX-The-Kumiho atm the Atari Jaguar kinda has it worse cus it has the original sound track playing and the new one playing on top, so you get two different soundtracks playing at once it's bit of a headache.

@Lizuka you say that the actual Pokémon pinball game boy games had Pokeballs as the ball, use it to capture Pokémon on the table too, really hope Nintendo add it Switch along with the rumble support.

@EarthboundBenjy yeah it's mentioned in the history section it's remixed by the guy who did origins and legends, they even changed the Gba and GBC soundtracks, only one that's untouched is Atari but it's glitches, it plays background music then plays it again on top, I don't understand why they needed to change the music when all the past ports and re releases of PS1 has the original music, the new tracks just sound out of place.

@scottdevine48 Think there phasing out PS4, I mean the bubsy collection only came to PS5 despite also coming out on Switch 1.

@N00BiSH Not that I blame you about not paying Ubisoft but at least they actually done Rayman a solid for once, definitely worth getting this in a sale, there hasn't been a Rayman release in nearly a decade.

@Ruthven I mean I just plugged in my Wii U and all my Eshop downloads are still there and working only ones missing are indie game demos oddly and all the dlc and updates too, I mean a empty case just seems pointless, if all your doing is downloading ya better off waiting for a sale and download it that way it's what I done for the Lego games, why should I spend £15 on a box with a one time code when I get it off Eshop for £3.99?

Poster is a bit too plain, I did like the artwork for the actual Virtual Boy games tho.

@SplatRay001 well GameCube sadly flopped too it's only recently with Switch it's gotten emulated.

@Ruthven Not to defend Game Key cards but I think code in a box is the worst thing they could do, since it's a one time use so no resell and honestly a waste of plastic when it doesn't need a box to contain a code if be like if gift cards came in boxes, bottom line if your just getting a one time redeemable code why not buy it in a Eshop sale? At least that way you save some money.

@Anti-Matter You could just play Animal Crossing new horizons which is all on the cartridge and honestly has more stuff to do now thanks to the free 3.0 update, tbh I don't think Nintendo have much faith in this Pokémon spin off I sure don't.

@masterLEON Top Speed is basically the pre Chase HQ same hardware, the turbo boosts and even shares some graphics, the only thing it's lacking the is the chasing bit, it is cool to see, since it didn't ported to consoles, next to Crime City a spin off of Chase HQ of the drivers going on foot playing like Rolling Thunder we are getting closer to the actual Chase HQ games being added.

@TitanSix if they just drop the virtual headset bit and just made it like this Gameboy even b&w it would of been so much better, despite trying 3D stuff this system had some real good sprite work even without colour it looks better then some Gba games.

@Ironcore can only assume there doing it to phase out Switch 1 releases tho there still releasing Arcade games like Rave Racer at the end of this month which is more powerful then a PS1.

@KayFiOS It's the same company that charged $9.99 for the original 70s Space Invaders on Switch 2, it's not a suprise.

No thanks I'll stick with Pokémon Pinball on the Game Boy Colour would be great if Nintendo put it and the Gba one on Switch.

@carlos82 They just want people to double dip pretty much outside having proper 4k resolution, there's nothing different, I guess maybe loading times but then again this is Snes and nes games honestly this could of been on GameCube.

Ya know it's possible we might be able to buy Nintendo made games too, they did bring nearly all of their arcade games like Donkey Kong, Mario Bros and did nearly the whole Vs System games which were basically Nes games tweaked for a Arcade setting, this could be the actual Virtual Console we been missing.

@Ade117 Same here but it's pretty bad the others just got a bit of paper with a code in a box, at least with a game key card you had something physical and could resell glad I was only after Indy
