Completely out of no where!

I'm still very enamored with Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, but I'll probably download this anyway to show my support (and then stick it on the backburner). Looks great!

Between this, Phoenix Wright Justice for All on the Feb 15, and Rondo of Blood looming somewhere on the horizon, I'm going to be broke!

I'm not seeing anything about sharing your music here (whether saving to SD or via WiFi). That seems like something that ought to be an important feature.

Great for EU! Excitebike was a LOT more fun than I thought it would be, and you'll be doing yourselves a great service by giving it a shot.

I've been playing it this evening, and I've got to admit, I'm really impressed. So far, this is one of the better fighters I've played. I'm enjoying getting to see all these characters that I've never seen before. Some very interesting moves!

I will be picking up some Points this weekend so the Wii will be prepared on any given Monday for this Castlevania awesomeness.

UNO being twice as much as other territories is a ripoff. Will not buy.

I'm passing on this one. I was interested to see how it was going to be received in NA, and while I enjoy a good RPG, something about the style of GoH just doesn't appeal to me.

(and @Koto - agreed. I love the DS a lot for this reason. It's like SNES days all over again!)

I'm going to download Dark Void Zero - and I'm glad I've got 500 points just sitting on the DSi. I'm not sure when I'll actually play it (Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes = all my attention), but I'll still download it today anyway.

@Sean - You guys shouldn't have to bend the rules just to appease fans of a series. I don't think anyone should expect that either.

Had this been done a couple of years ago, I would have probably stepped up and supported it. Not so much now though.

The presentation is the only downside of the WiiWare version - you can tell Capcom was a bit lazy in the porting process.

HOWEVER, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is still an epic game, and if you haven't played the DS version (or you no longer own it), you still should Definitely check it out.

This is nothing new... Nintendo has been stopping productions of various games for time.

Electroplankton. Tetris DS. WarioWare Touched. Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Endless Ocean. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

I'm sure there's plenty more that fell off the radar that people probably don't even remember.

I doubt I'd use it. Also, it seems a little late to be starting this, doesn't it? If this had been available a couple of years ago, they might have snagged some money from me.

The prices have jumped for MPT all over the place. The past few weeks on eBay, especially after the Target and Best Buy sales, MPT was selling in the low to mid $30s. Now it's up in the mid to high $40s.

This was a great GBA game, especially for its time.

Phoenix Wright has epic Wii Menu music/sounds. No objections here!

Already own Phoenix Wright on the DS, but I will buy it again. And I disagree on the replay value - true that you won't replay it again immediately after finishing, but Phoenix Wright is more like a good book - and good books in my home are often read more than once.

And to comment on the DSiWare - my last download was Pop+ back in August, and beyond Dark Void Zero, I don't see anything else that really interests me.

Got mine before Christmas for $29 at Target. I'm glad they're discontinuing it. What's the point of putting Collector's Edition on the box if it's not limited?

As neat as it sounds, I would only buy it if it had Rondo of Blood - I've got all the rest in one format or another.

If I were a collector, this would be very irritating. However, since I'm a gamer, I think the re-releases are great. Chrono Trigger on the DS was my first time playing it, despite being a SNES owner since it was first released. CT was just too expensive for me to give it a shot.

I picked up Symphony of the Night last year too for the PSOne in very minty condition for just over $20. This would never have been possible at that price unless it had been re-released elsewhere.

I think there's still value and prestige in owning the original cartridges/disks though - I know I still treasure the ones I have.

I had planned on getting UNO for DSiWare as I've got 500 points, but I'm not adding points just to get it. Disappointing that it was bumped up to 800 in NA.

Definitely needs to see a VC release. Not sure if I ever played the SNES version, but the arcade version was quite epic.

Blaster Master was a great game. A day one download for me!

@110electro - IGN as a whole is not bad. Certain reviewers are of poor quality, but I think Bozon does a good job. And I agree, the Ocean Temple wasn't as bad as people make it out to be.

@Aviator - well, IGN said the game was over 25 hours from start to finish, so unless your day is longer than everyone else's...

One of my favorite SNES games.. oh the memories.

Glad it's working out - imagine if it had been implemented from the get-go? Hopefully Nintendo will step it up and get even more demos out there now.

@Corbie - Correct me if I'm wrong, but you sold the LL on eBay already? It wasn't worth keeping I suppose?

@chunky - the day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday, in which rabid consumers wake up far too early to get "deals" on their purchases that are only available to the insane. It's the beginning of the "holiday shopping season".

I wish they had made the D-pad and buttons a little bigger. Maybe closer to the Classic Controller's size.

Amazon has them available for preorder for a mere $155...

@Odnetnin - Nice! I assume it demonstrates the Electroplankton that you're currently playing?

@Terranigma - all 10 of the Electroplanktons are on DSiWare, yes. I don't know if the DSiWare downloads have it, but on the cartridge, you could choose Performance Mode (which is where you played with the various 'Plankton), or Audience Mode where you could listen to various Electroplankton in action. Basically just a bunch of demonstrations.

Just looking at the Game Overview info up top, I thought I remembered Ninja Gaiden in the arcade being 2 player coop?

@Gabbo - an excellent excuse. A 9/10 sounds about right to me. I could care less about local multiplay. This is the best WiiWare game out there right now in my opinion.

Go Excitebike! It is far more fun than I thought it would be... if you're on the fence about it, take the plunge. It's worth the 1000!

Nice to see such big updates these past couple of weeks. Got to give Nintendo credit for that.

I'll likely download Excitebike today, and Frogger sometime later on. I'm glad to see the Electroplankton making their debut too.
