@AJWolfTill You have such a problem with a female video game character showing skin and being sexual that you would want an option or mod to cover it up? I'm sorry, but you're ridiculous. Just play the game and enjoy it, I promise the nasty bits won't hurt you.
I grew up playing the original top down GTAs, and am still very fond of them. I was hoping for a Wii U release, but I'll probably end up getting it for Wii.
As long as I can ignore it it's fine. If there comes a time when I can't play Mario Kart, or any other game, without having ads shoved down my throat, then I will stop playing. The only exception being sports game because the banners and other things add to the realism in those games.
@Oscarsome Who is "they"? In the first sentence, Moffitt is referring to 3D Land for the 3DS, which came out in 2011, not 3D World that debuted last year for the Wii U.
I love off TV play on the GamePad. Lately I've been spending a lot of time with EarthBound, while having King of the HIll on the TV. I also liked Unepic on the GamePad. It's fantastic.
@Kirk Maybe you're right, but maybe not. The original Bayonetta came out on PS3, so there could be a lot of Sony fans that might be interested in picking up the system for the second installment. I don't know why you're focusing on Wii U fans and saying that if Wii U fans aren't excited about it (which I don't agree with and that's my next point) then it won't move units. If you want to sell units then you need to release a game to appeal to the people that have not yet purchased the system, not necessarily to current Wii U fans and owners. So you are right that the game should be widely promoted. Lastly, the fact that Toad (a game that I had no idea was coming) got more votes than Bayonetta (a game that we have been hearing about for over a year) got more votes in a poll to determine “your favorite reveal” does not indicate that Wii U owners are not excited about it. The game could sell poorly, or it could sell well. All I do know is that this poll portends nothing.
I would rather the physical copy be sold as a two disc set, and a dl code come with the digital purchase of two. I don't like digital and always prefer a physical copy, but in this case there is no other option.
@MrWalkie @eagle good posts, I agree. I don't consider myself a collector. I have some video game figures and kidrobot stuff but that's it. These do seem interesting though, and I'm looking forward to seeing the entire line and learning more about their abilities.
Today was the first chance I had to watch the big event, and I got to enjoy several hours of tree house as well. I loved it. The treehouse is a great addition that makes it much better than last year's E3. Hopefully I'll be able to watch a little at work tomorrow.
It looks really cool, and I'd love to play around with one. I was in high school when this was released, but I wasn't doing any handheld gaming at the time, or much else besides Ultima Online actually, so I wasn't even aware of it.
Haha damn, 1-6 stopped the player in his/her tracks. Looks fun, but I agree that the music should be improved, more diversity would be great. I would also like online leader boards. I'm slightly concerned about glitching. At 1:10 Cubbins appears to bounce through the blocks. I like my precision platformers to be clean and reliable. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more.
I hope they bring Yo-kai Watch to the US. I have loved everything from level 5 and I'm sure this wouldn't be an exception. Speaking of level 5, any updates on the localization of Fantasy Life?
@DarkKirby I completely agree. I was really disappointed when I learned that the first one was only available as a download. I must have searched the internet for 30 minutes before I finally realized it.
@KeeperBvK He said that the game pad "is not a sexy piece of hardware" and that he is used to "sexy pieces of hardware." That kind of incredibly stupid comment deserves to be mocked, even if it takes the form of a personal attack.
@sikthvash Wow I had no idea that they did BAT. It was bundled with my PS1 and I played it all the time. I was already going to get this game, but knowing that will advance the date of purchase.
I'm surprised by the amount of prudish people on this site. The game looks fun in an absurd over the top sort of way, and there is nothing inherently wrong with half naked digital females battling each other. It's annoying that sex is still a sensitive issue.
@PrincessEevee9 You must be great at parties. The ability to form such negative emotions about something so inconsequential is a popular character trait. As for twitch, rock on.
@James1993 Scott Rudin is directing, Rogan is a co-writer with Evan Goldberg. @idork99 Good point, the impact of SFII can't be overstated. Personally, I liked Sega but for me the winner was clear. Chrono Trigger, FFIII, mario, fzero, SFII, LTTP, super mario rpg, mario kart, DK country series. Amazing.
@bezerker99 I don't think so. I bought it with zero ability and I've had a lot of fun with it. The lessons are pretty easy to follow and you'll be surprised at how good some of your finished drawings look.
The Genesis version was one of my favorite games at the time, and I beat it countless times. It looked fantastic, had great sound, smooth controls and was just incredibly fun. In my opinion it's a classic.
I'm sure it will sell me in the US. I for one am excited about this game and have been since it was announced. It looks beautiful and I'm sure the experience will be smooth and incredibly fun.
