@Fazermint
Spare us your generic celebrity bashing. You lost all credibility when you lumped religion in with fashion. Why, because people are influenced by both? Let's just throw art and literature in there as well, those menacing "external forces." I happen to be an atheist, but that is an incredibly stupid statement.
As for the photos, hell, I'll take any kind of marketing/publicity at this point.

Re: Video: New Nintendo Direct Mini Broadcasts Released

70-80? I have not seen a copy sell for less than 150 for years. If I could find a physical copy for 80 I would probably grab it just to play on my snes with the original controller. That's probably what it sold for at release anyway. I feel like I spent 90 or something on Chrono Trigger in 95'. Games were a lot more expensive back then.

I've been waiting a long time to play Earthbound. I'm surprised and thrilled to see it finally comes to the eshop. It would have been nice if it was one of our (US) .30 games, but paying nine for a digital copy is certainly better than paying hundreds for the cartridge.

Yes, this this seemingly benign quiz show game is actually a harbinger of terrible things to come, wicked things that will ensure the Wii U's destruction.

I absolutely loved the Rhythm Thief demo, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I also plan on buying Code of Princess soon. But of course I also want Donkey Kong, FE:A and about 10 other games so I actually don't know what I'm going to do. Honestly, with the 3DS I have little time for much else.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Should Aim to Produce Mature, Genre-Defining Storytelling Experiences

I just don't understand the resistance here. You might not like Bioshock, Uncharted, Mass effect, and other games, but to say that they lack "good gameplay" is laughable. Who would have been upset if Nintendo had published any of these? Probably no one. Personally, I would have welcomed them all with open arms. The people that want to confine Nintendo to a single feel and aesthetic are only harming it.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Should Aim to Produce Mature, Genre-Defining Storytelling Experiences

I see lots of people explaining the reasons that they would not buy a game like this. I see lots of people pointing out that Nintendo has already tried and failed, Other M. Of course the people that are afraid of or disgusted buy adult themes and visuals don't have to buy the game. And I think it's foolish to restrict a company's offerings based on a single attempt. I don't know why anyone would want to limit Nintendo's creatively, or why anyone would deny that a quality game of this sort would be good for Nintendo.

I agree with this article's sentiments. I followed square over to sony in the 90s and skipped the N64 (my friend had one so I still got plenty of time with bond, kart, mario 64). I rejoined team Nintendo with the Gamecube, but ever since I have had a Playstation sitting next to it. I would like for with Wii U to be my only console, but there is no way that I can get by without titles like Uncharted, which is one of my favorite series. I also liked Heavy Rain,and I plan on playing Last of Us. This type of game is indispensable in my opinion, and I'm positive that Nintendo could produce a fantastic one.

Re: Sayonara Umihara Kawase Confirmed For 3DS

I've only watched the first five minutes, but I have to stop for a minute just to say that I think the guy playing the game is funny as hell. His comments about the chair, the "motor cycle", and his question about the girl's destination all made me laugh.

Re: Review: The Cave (Wii U eShop)

@moomoo
The problem is that a lot of gamers write off a game that is rated as high as 7, so getting a 6 is basically the kiss of death. That being said, after playing this game I believe the game should be rated an 8. It's a very enjoyable game and in my opinion does not contain a single hefty fault. The only slightly annoying issue I have is there is no off-tv. For me, the lack of a follow command, the backtracking and lack of an inventory barely register as problems.

Re: Wii U Software Falls Off The UK Charts

Plutonian

Not worried for all of the reasons listed above. Launch titles, including downloaded, that I currently want are the dynasty warrior game (I know about the frame rate issue but don't care), tekken tag 2, sonic racers, inferno, and trine 2. I already have Nintendo Land (bundled) and Mario U. Between all of this and my 3DS gaming and all of the non-gaming related responsibilities that I have I am plenty busy. The launch was fine for me.

Re: Mega Man 1 to 6 Blasting Onto 3DS Virtual Console

Plutonian

I like them portable as well, and I can't wait for these. I have been demanding this on all of my N Club eshop reviews. As for 3D or port, I'm torn. I love classic 2d games, but some of the 3d classics look cool. Right now I'm kind of leaning toward traditional 2d because I don't have the games anywhere else and if I have one version I would like it to be in original form.

Re: Unchained Blades Coming To North American 3DS eShop In The New Year

Plutonian

@LordGeovanni
That is definitely a legitimate concern with a handheld. The only downloaded retail game I have at the moment is NSMB 2 because it's a game that I can pop in and out of and I thought it would be convenient to have on the SD, but on January 3 I will make this my second. I use my 3DS often because I do a lot of idle sitting on trains and other places, but it is always either in my front pocket or in my hands so I'm not that worried. I actually prefer to own the physical cartridge, but in this case I do not have a choice and I really want the game. I'm sorry for about what happened, that sucks and I would definitely be wary if that happened to me.

@Haxonberik
Funny that you point that out. I checked out some of your other comments, and it seems that at the end of your previous comment on Unchained Blades you typed "boughy" instead of "bought." No need to nitpick.
