So for those wondering, this is basically a "gaiden" story for Persona 1, as these mobile projects tended to be. It's not any kind of alternate version from the PS1 or PSP game.
Atlus has several, and I do mean SEVERAL, random-ass mobile games that never left Japan, and that have been almost entirely lost to time and obscurity. It's really cool for preservation/historical purposes that these are slowly getting rereleased. If only we could get localizations as well.
This is absolutely wild to hear. I'm shocked it's happening without some obvious reason. I get that the man is aging, but I figured Nintendo would reuse voice clips for as long as they possibly could before announcing something like this. And without knowing details on his personal life, it doesn't seem like he's already physically incapable, so I'm left wondering if this video with him and Miyamoto will give us any concrete explanation for this change.
I just played the demo and there's a goddamn "you're" where a "your" should be. (I got a random event where you have to "run" and after showing my score it said "You're name isn't Sonic, is it?") How the hell does that make it into a public demo?
“a game processing method capable of enriching game presentation during a waiting period in which at least part of the game processing is interrupted” So they don't want any non-Nintendo games to have a good-looking loading screen? Good thing PS5 games barely load now.
I grabbed a 15% off pre-order that was up for a few moments way back, like May 10th or something. Every other time I checked, the page would give me a 404 error, but they came in on release day perfectly fine.
Would love to play Pikmin 4 or continue Tears of the Kingdom but alas, my Pro Controller has become nearly unusable with insane stick drift, and the only repair I can try now is replacing the analog stick wheels entirely, which I am absolutely dreading...
So I've just been chipping away at the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection on handheld mode, going through Zero 4 at the moment. Great series.
