Yeah, I too remember lurking on the computer & not posting at all until I felt like hamering our my usual jokingly & complaining posts on WiiWare World back in that time! Yet its not a big huge shame that its now NintendoLife; & I actually like everything as one anyway! Also I couldn't ask for a nicer set of memorable moments in this article; very nicely done WiiWare World... I mean NintendoLife!! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY WII-SHOVELWARE... Okay though, we've been WHINNING about these crappy Nintendo Download releases for 6 WEEKS STRAIGHT NOW; so when I say things have gotten this stupid... I seriously mean it has gotten THIS STUPID!!!
Look, all we got left, besides the little hope we have for Nintendo; is ONLY 6 MORE DAYS until May 18th & our #300 VC game... be it Zelda MM or not?!! SO THERE!!
Well first of all, I least expected those Pokemon G&S remake rumors to come true; but now I guess I can jump for joy!! This is indeed the BEST NEWS EVER; & for a month away from E309... bet Nintendo will announce something about them by then what do you expect?!
Also I don't mind remakes at all; just not too many! But Pokemon G&S, & even Crystal were the best of the GameBoyColor gen; & my favorites other than R/B/&Y! How many hours I spent playing them with the Pokemon Stadium games making me zip through them within a few hours time; & coppying many tms & rare candies!! I just hope these remakes let you trade with our current Pokemon DS lineup of D/P/&Ptm... & maybe possibly link wirelessly to the Wii someday; like with My Pokemon Ranch (which still needs a Ptm update for NA BTW)!!
Well I think that artwork does look FIIIINNEE... or H-O-T to the core!!! And I've been seeing, hearing, reading stuff about that Maramasa Demon Blade game over at Nintendo Everything; but NOW its got me interested with that HAWTNESS artwork... I mean fanartwork!!! Bet if there was real artwork though it would be covered up & censored for over here in the NA States though, wink wink!!
Glad some of you are happy with this news; I too just bet S&S will come out around May18th or May 25th... maybe June if it takes too late! But I've never been interested in the game; its a big huge turn off to me because of the lame graphics!
I know those games aren't all bad; people just freaking have to complain about labeling every VC Monday since this past April bad because of no Zelda MM or SSB64... they have no patience I swear!
And hopefully I bet these 10 days will pass on by a lot more quickly so I don't have to keep posting on here regularly & whine about everything!
I also agree that we can't wait forever for this game to be ERSB rated... but my guesses Nintendo might hold out on the surprises after E309 & maybe, just maybe; Super Mario Kart will be ERSB rated & might come out within the end of 2009! So my guesses sometime within June or July it gets ERSB rated & maybe come out... it its later though in Q4 of 2009; so be it!
BTW I probably will get the game; but it looks SOO outdated to the N64 Mario Kart! I probably won't play it at all ever so often & it'll sit on my SD card menu with all of the other games I rarely play!
& BTW; I think the N64 version is the best in the series... unlike Mario Kart Wii however!

After reading that nice long comment; I too HIGHLY AGREE with everything you said there about SSB64... because pepole want it so badly/love it so much is because of all of those nostalgic reasons!

Hmmm... let's see, so many games I still want to get: ExciteBots comes out today = $50 to save! Punch-Out to wait for = $50 more to save! Wii Motion Plus in June & Wii Sports Resort bunled with Wii Motion Plus in July = $20 for 1 WM+ & $50 for the game & 1 more WM+... that's a total of $70!
That's so far $170... and I still need to want to get a DSi; (so I can have 2 DS systems & play multiplayer games, & the cool DSi camera & music capabilities)!
I would need at least $340 it grand total for all of them! Better start saving!

The only thing good today is that DSi has Dr. Mario; it'll be the ONLY THING to get for when I get a DSi!!
Other DSiWare... is like WiiWare, a bunch of shovelware!!!
And I think WiiWare's release today of SQUARE ENIX's Crystal Defenders seems interesting... has been since they announceced it way back!!
All I can say is... Way back when it was 2007, & the only TMNT game released back in April was the first NES one; I was eagerly awaiting for the 2nd TMNT2:TAG for the NES... yet it never came for months on end until I gave up by 2008 came around! Nice memories though; wishfully thinking TMNT2 would ever come out back then!
But now with 2009's release of VC Arcade games, maybe by the end of the year, or the years to come... Konami might have a hold of the TMNT license!
Then they could possibly give us the other TMNT games on the VC here in NA!
That'll be the day I rejoice with my happy dance; of long years of waiting for my beloved classic TMNT games from the NES & SNES on the Wii!
Nice to hear though that Chibi Robo New Play Control has a Japan release!
Now I wonder when NOA will announce the release dates for it; & the Metroid Prime games... making out 2009 complete for the New Play Control series!
And yes... I'm always wishing for a Zelda TWW re-release just for New Play Control; (sine I just recently beat it a while ago; out of pure fun & charm reliving it)! But it would be up to the Zelda Team developers on NOJ to push for a NPC Zelda WW release... so I'm always doubting it'll ever happen! Just always wishful thinging though!

Okay this is what I have to say about today's LAME-O Nintendo download anyway:

I still don't see what everyone so freaking upset about?!
Of course you would've guessed Nintendo wouldn't right away release a big game for May right off the bat; so its no wonder people are still whinning about no SSB64 or Zelda MM!
Only thing I got to say is we'll be waiting another long week for another crappy release on May 11; & hopefully by another long week on May 18th we'll get our beloved highly anticipated N64 game... be it either Zelda MM or SSB64?! Lucily I wish it could be both instead of just one of them; but its not in my right mind Nintendo would make the decision to chose one over the other!
But so we got another C64 game; at least no should be whinning about that... WAIT I guess people are already whinning about it, LOL!!
And yes I can see why people are upset with the recent DSiWare releases; for that lame Animal Crossing clock & calculator... I can see why people hate Animal Crossing so much these days anyway, LOL!!
And yes the more "Shovelware we can see on the WiiWare or DSiWare service"; the more we can WAIT LONGER for the better good solid first party games!!

Maybe NOA are doing just that... working out the emulation bugs & trying to get it on USA Wii VC servers!
Even if I don't know why God knows how they already got them for freaking Europe & Japan first?! It's beyond me why they got the game & we're almost to a full month on not having the game yet?!

Well those new tibits are now enough to convience me this will be one MOST EXCELLENT Punch-Out game!!
Hmmm... let's see, so many games I still want to get:
ExciteBots comes out today = $50 to save!
Punch-Out to wait for = $50 more to save!
Wii Motion Plus in June & Wii Sports Resort bunled with Wii Motion Plus in July = $20 for 1 WM+ & $50 for the game & 1 more WM+... that's a total of $70!
That's so far $170... and I still need to want to get a DSi; (so I can have 2 DS systems & play multiplayer games, & the cool DSi camera & music capabilities)!
I would need at least $340 it grand total for all of them! Better start saving!

I think today's releases are just okay
Other than I've hated the VC releases all this month!
I've stopped caring about crappy VC releases all since 2009 started!!
The only things good we got so far the year are: Kirby's Dream Land 3, Castlevania 3, Sonic Chaos, & Super Punch-Out... judging if you're a fan of all of these awesome games, (which I'm glad they are the only games I got for this year on the VC)!

All I can say is...
Way back when it was 2007, & the only TMNT game released back in April was the first NES one; I was eagerly awaiting for the 2nd TMNT2:TAG for the NES... yet it never came for months on end until I gave up by 2008 came around!
Nice memories though; wishfully thinking TMNT2 would ever come out back then!
But now with 2009's release of VC Arcade games, maybe by the end of the year, or the years to come... Konami might have a hold of the TMNT license!
Then they could possibly give us the other TMNT games on the VC here in NA!
That'll be the day I rejoice with my happy dance; of long years of waiting for my beloved classic TMNT games from the NES & SNES on the Wii!

Now I wonder when NOA will announce the release dates for it; & the Metroid Prime games... making out 2009 complete for the New Play Control series!
And yes... I'm always wishing for a Zelda TWW re-release just for New Play Control; (sine I just recently beat it a while ago; out of pure fun & charm reliving it)!
But it would be up to the Zelda Team developers on NOJ to push for a NPC Zelda WW release... so I'm always doubting it'll ever happen! Just always wishful thinging though!
