Hey, I am a hardcore DS and Wii gamer. And I have a PS3...
But...
I just got an iPod Touch a couple of weeks ago and the App Store is awesome. Yes, there is tons of junk on it, but there are also a lot of fun games. And they are CHEAP! Lots are free or only 99 cents. And a lot of those ultra cheap games are really good.... there are enough websites out there, and customer reviews on iTunes, to lead you to the good ones. It gives me great hopes for DSiWare... but also makes me not that eager anymore to upgrade to a DSi.... My DS Lite will do just fine for now since I have my iPod Touch to go with it...
The commercial versions have hundreds of levels and thousands of levels you can download. The games come with level editors and there is a huge community making levels for the PC games.
They are Bejeweled-type games, but with a lot of extra features. I really like the Big Kahuna games and hope the WiiWare version is equally fun. Sure, they are just Match-3 games, but they are tough and have some interesting features.
I'll stick to my DS sudoku games with handwriting recognition etc., like Brain Age and Sudoku Gridmaster... There is nothing worse than a bad Sudoku game, and after watching the trailer for Sudoku Challenge, it looked like it has a bad interface...
Home Sweet Home is a casual PC game that was ported over to WiiWare. It recently received a sequel, Home Sweet Home 2: Kitchens & Baths. Both retail for $19.99, so 1000 Wii points is half price of the originals.
Gamezebo.com, the top casual games review site, gave the original Home Sweet Home a 4.5 stars out of 5. You can read their review here:
Hey, I love My Aquarium. It is not a game. It's a glorified screen saver, but a fine one. It is nice to leave on while you do other things around the house. The camera will lock onto one fish and follow it around the tank. You also unlock new fish a couple times a week. The reason why it is selling so much is it is only $5 and for that price, it is terrific. Everyone in my house loves having it on the TV. It is relaxing like a real aquarium is, without the cleanup work and dead fish...
You can follow this link to the Reflexive site for Big Kahuna Reef 2. There is a video you can watch that shows gameplay. I imagine the WiiWare version will be very similar.
Big Kahuna Reef 1 & 2 are casual games for the PC, and very good ones at that. They are match 3 games like Bejeweled and are known for several things...bombs with massive chain reaction explosions, tricky difficulty, multiplayer called Mouse Party, and 1000's of user created levels.
Mouse Party lets 2 or more players make matches at the same time and compete for a higher score.
Reflexive Entertainment is a casual game developer known mainly for Big Kahuna Reef an the Ricochet family of breakout style games. Their games are very well made and fun. I find it interesting they are expanding onto Wiiware. It will be fun to see if Big Fish Games, Sandbox games, Mumbo Jumbo and others follow suit.

How can people call this a bad week? Well, bad for Wii, but not bad at all for DS and 3DS!
Re: Review: Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (GameCube)
This game got more play on our GameCube than any other game. We still pull it out on occasion and play it on the Wii. My favorite golf game ever!
Re: Halloween: Trick or Treat
The PC version of this game is getting horrendous reviews... wonder if this version is any better...
Re: 3D Classics: Twinbee
It is fun. Glad I picked it up. Nice 3D, too.
Re: Review: MotoHeroz (WiiWare)
Got this. The graphics are good, but I don't like the game at all.... Having to beat a ghost time isn't something I like....
Re: Gargoyle's Quest
I never got past level 1 either. Now, years later, I know I'll never get past level 1... I will pass.

Re: Nintendo Updates DSiWare to 3DS Transfer List with More Titles
Sudoku Master is my most played DSiWare game. I have tried virtually all of the suduku games on there and Sudoku Master is the best. Sigh...
Re: These DSiWare Games Cannot Be Moved to 3DS
Of all my DSiWare games, I play Sudoku Master the most... best Sudoku game on DSiWare... that sux. Also, the Pinball game is great, too...

Re: Nintendo Download: 4th April 2011 (North America)
I have the retail version of "From The Abyss"... it is pretty abysmal...
Seriously... for $2, this excerpt might be good enough. But it definitely isn't as good as Zenonia etc...
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th January 2010 (North America)
I sooooo want to download Muscle March for some strange reason but I also have a sinking feeling it would be a total waste of 500 points!
Re: Review: Eat! Fat! FIGHT! (WiiWare)
I'm buying it! Don't even have to think about this one! Yay!
