I bought Spelunky 1 & 2 in the sale but tried 2 first and it is hard! First time playing either Spelunky game so getting used the the mechanics but loving it so far. Other than that may fit some slay the spire and new dicey dungeons update around a BBQ or two!! Stay cool everyone

I am just starting the third in game day of disco elysium and it is blowing my mind!! The internal monologue with your character stats are incredible- funny, inventive and always interesting. I'm glad the switch version has the voice acting- there would have been ALOT of reading otherwise and I may have stopped playing..... Breaking this up with runs of undermine

I am ten hours into bravely default 2 and loving it now I have got to grips with the battle system! Also tried out death's door and curse of the dead gods I got on sale and now struggling to decide which to boot up..... Good weekend everyone 👍

I bought smash bros when it came out, and played it for a couple of days then started playing something else. A video randomly popped up on my YouTube the other day from frostbite smash bros tournament and I put it back on again and loving it!!! Cant believe it's been sat in my drawer for so long. Unfortunately everyone else has been playing it for so long I'm gonna get thrashed online......

@ReWane Hades soundtrack is amazing isn't it- would happily buy it as well!

@Daymonkey Glad to see it's not just me that can't stop playing it- such a great game, the progression system means I havent put it down since it came out!!!

@TimboSlice I was the same- so impressed with what they achieved with that game, and having played more control last night that game is heading in the same direction. Apparently the dlc coming soon links control and alan wake somehow which is exciting!! If you have any console to play it on would recommend it fully

Haven't picked my switch up in a couple of weeks since I bought an xbox one x from a guy at work. Been engrossed in Remedy's Control ever since, such a great game!! Makes me want to play Alan wake as same studio and loved that game when it first came out....

I jumped back into Celeste after rage quitting a while back and am now at the end of chapter 6 and if I play it in small doses i am loving it!! Will jump into a few of the 51 games for breaks in the intensity and the thousands of platform deaths... 😂

Physical copy arrived this morning!! Now gotta decide what to play first!

@Nerdfather1 How are you getting on with the outer worlds? Nearly preorders it on switch a few times as seems to be highly thought of- what's your take?

Will be a couple of hours a day with my wife and daughter playing moving out and mario kart, then once she is in bed its huntdown, void bastards and lonely mountains downhill on rotation. And trying to stop myself buying jet lancer!! Dont need it right now, step away from the eshop.......

I have been dipping in and out of this since release- loving it so far certainly got that 'one more ship' thing going on. Thrilling when you get out of a ship with the loot with seconds of air remaining, or the tiniest amount of health!! I have only been playing handheld and not had any major issues, only one real stutter I can think of in around six hours of play time

I have been/will be playing lonely mountains downhill, void bastards and the total surprise that has been shinsekai into the depths. I picked it up when it released as I was fascinated by the under water exploration but had a couple of other games to finish first. So glad I bought it- such a great atmosphere but needs to be played with headphones in, anyone looking for something a bit different I recommend it!

Loving the look of this! May is getting expensive- this, lonely mountains, ion fury, void bastards, the persistence.... aaahhhh

@harrystein Thanks for the advice 👍- I was debating which to get but will give piczle adventure a try, looks good from the little i have seen of it but couldn't find much detail about it

@Poketto have you tried divinity original sin 2? Turn based and everyone seems to rate it really highly. It's on sale ( uk at least) at the moment and I nearly bought it a few days ago but it sounds like a big time investment and really need to get through some back log....

So far this weekend I have been playing bastion, roundguard, murder by numbers and steamworld heist. Would recommend all of these to everybody cant find any negatives so far apart from finding it difficult which to play when i pick up the switch for an hour!! Stay safe people

I had a great time with this on switch. I noticed a bit of slow down fighting the dragons on the tower, but apart from that no problems. I know it launched in a bit of a state, but definitely worth playing now.

My physical copy arrived today- ready for some sneaky sneaky shooty shooty! Had the first one on ps4 and enjoyed it immensely, never got around to the second one ended up in the backlog

@olrodlegacy Thank you for that. Will probably give it a go at some point as still interested, but not £17.99 interested. A few reviews I read on release stated load time and frame rate issues so waited and now my interest has wained a bit! Seems like different people have had different experiences or maybe have different tolerance to the issues. Normally load times dont bother me but couple of reviews said the frame rate came to a standstill at points

@MrGawain I didn't get it on PS4 as waited for the switch version and then heard it had issues which was a shame- seems weird from super rares point of view to release a physical if it's broken!!! Shame as was looking forward to it.

I thought The Sexy Brutale got marked down when it came out as almost unplayable on switch due to the performance? I really wanted to play it but wasnt paying out for a broken game. Anyone got it know if its been patched?

Gaming night with a couple of mates tonight, so it will be a rotation of towerfall, killer queen black, tricky towers, roof rage and duck game. Or anything else if anyone has suggestions for great local multiplayer? Good weekend everyone 😁

Was planning to finish up a few games I was near the end of, but got sucked back in to slay the spire again. As much as I bemoan the backlog, switch has so many games I keep going back to rather than finishing anything. First world problems and all that. Hope the storm here in the UK hasn't hit anyone here too hard this weekend!!!

Love this game, so glad it has come to switch. Play this a lot on a mates ps4 with a few of us and it's a riot. I have played a couple of hours so far and not had any issues and played all handheld

@PJOReilly Great review- it's an experience I wanted to talk about with someone straight after playing but didn't want to ruin any of it for someone else! The creeping dread in the first chapter as you slowly realise what us happening is brilliant, can't recommend this enough. Need to find more experiences like this, if anyone has any recommendations would be great

@kozaihod you are given a choice of words to make up commands to enter. Works really well- there is a great sense of impending dread after a few minutes and it builds cleverly. Recommend headphones if you play it

I have just started to play it this week and loving it- got the physical copy for £20 with a steel book case which looks awesome. Cant comment from before the patch but so far runs well and looks good.

@zoneoftruth I was the same, struggled with bloodborne but really wanted to like it. Ashen is great though, I would recommend it I am five or six hours in and the exploration is excellent and feel like I am always making progress, even playing for short bursts- give it a shot!!

@Dm9982 I just got the second core and found the island with the arcade! Loving the style of it all and the soundtrack seems cool so far. Worried it might be a bit short less than 2 hours in and about 25 percent complete

@Dm9982 I am loving the touryst so far- it looks incredible and has made me grin alot in about half an hour. And the diving. Wow.

So far this weekend I have played overcooked 2, heave ho, unravel 2 and mario sonic olympics with mates, then witcher 3, ape out and tetris 99 on my own. Wife and three year old have been away for a few days so getting some gaming in!!! Great weekend everyone!!

The Witcher 3 has got its hooks in me- about 8 hours in but taking my time and trying to do as many of the side quests as possible. I had it in ps4 but never started it as knew it was a big investment and difficult in the family tv. For me personally these are the times the switch comes into its own- I have played all of it in handheld so far, but the option to have an hour on the big screen if it arises is perfect. Also my hori split pad pro arrived the same day as witcher so that has made a big difference, hours and hours in handheld with no sign of discomfort! Perfect for the switch owners with bear paws....

I am right at the end of links awakening and the first trine game, but can't stop playing tetris 99.....

@nofriendo is 3 bad as a standalone game, or just not as good as the first two? Would be interested to play all of them, but not gonna bother if it just downright sucks! Will just buy 2 and then 4

@darkswabber viced92 I almost ordered it this morning!! I am playing the first one right now and it is amazing, making me feel quite intelligent for a change. I want to play all of them, but already having 1 downloaded and not all on the chart means not worth getting the collection now. May buy two then wait for 4 to go on sale

Anyone thinking of getting the collection as physical- I just read a review elsewhere and only trine 4 is on the cartridge, other three are downloads apparently 🤦‍♂️

I want to finish links awakening and astral chain so I can start ghostbusters and ori but I dont have any self discipline so will probably be playing all of them by the end of the weekend....

It's a shame it only seems to be Amazon stocking them in the UK, and as mentioned earlier they delayed the delivery date on the day they were meant to be delivered! I have seen a fair number of reviews of these on YouTube but very difficult to get hold of. I was gonna import a set but delivery charges makes it not worth it

I watched a youtube video and the devs have confirmed that multiplayer (split screen and online) is coming in a patch, so will be multiplayer. Also videos out there showing an HD textured pack for the cars which looks good too.

Day one purchase for me, been waiting since I first saw some gameplay. Will probably kick my arse but will give it a go just for the look of it!

I have been playing and loving Rad and risk of rain 2 this month, although the second one is tough!! A lot of other stuff I wanted on the eshop but a few were quite highly priced so will have to wait!! Also Astral chain has its hooks in me so eshop games are on the backburner at the mo, but that might change when blasphemous comes out...

Took the switch round to a mates house, and three of us ended up playing tricky towers, nidhogg 2, towerfall and duck game for about six hours! Couch competitive- always amazes me how tense those games can get, although stick drift was starting to get used as a losing excuse. Happy weekend guys
