I cracked and bought resident evil 4 in the sale as I have never played, then a day later they release the three dooms so obviously had to buy them as well.....
As a calm amongst all the violence will be trying to finish the isle of awakening in dbq2, and trying to unlock a few more characters in streets of rogue. Feel bad that game has kinda gone under the radar a bit- find myself grinning all the time whilst playing it, rewards inventive play and just seems to have been made with love. Anyone looking for something different to play I would highly recommend it!!! Have a great weekend everyone

I have all three, and play all of them. I think Mario Kart has the family/friends multiplayer won by a mile but I have enjoyed the team aspect of Sonic for couch co-op in a racer. I bought Sonic physical, intending to trade it in for CTR, but couldn't bring myself to do it and still playing it and enjoying it, although for my money the tracks and boost mechanic, along with the grand prix events give CTR the edge overall. I had never played the original, so was shocked at the quality and amount of tracks.

@misterman Glad someone else is loving streets of rogue!!! Bought it this morning and it is genius- I love the huge difference the individual characters make- along with all the modifiers this will last a huge amount of play throughs... My resolve to not buy anything in the sale also lasted about 10 mins so also have x morph and nidhogg 2 to play. Lethal league blaze also looks amazing and the original on ps4 was a huge time sink for me and mates couch co op..... AAaahhhhh......

This is an amazing idea! Just added my first course, didn't have the original mario maker, so be gentle!! Now I'm off to try some of the creations on here...

Apart from an hour of virtua racing, I have played nothing but slay the spire this month!! Its got its hooks in me, and so replayable. Once you get through it with each character it unlocks ascension levels with extra elite fights and I cant stop- last game I played as much was dead cells. It's got that one more run feeling nailed- its stolen a fair few hours of my sleep this month...

More slay the spire!! Got a victory on my third run, but not since, and still unlocking new stuff..

I have hundreds of games in my backlog but still tempted by the Shantae games on sale... only heard good things about them. Will probably end up buying them by end of the weekend!! Have a good one folks.

Slay the spire!! Amazing game, got my first victory last night on a daily run but was massively OP to be fair, so many relics!
Planned to try and finish baba is you but can't see that getting a look in now...

I held off buying Steamworld Quest to wait for this, cant wait to get home from work and get started in the spire!!

I bought an 8bitdo wireless adaptor for the gamecube controller a couple of days ago. I played a bit of smash bros when it came out, but never really got into it as normally play handheld so my wife and kid can use the TV. Buying that has added so much to my enjoyment of smash bros, really feel like I am improving now and get what all the fuss is about. Better late than never. So mostly that this weekend, with a few games of duck game on Sunday with a mate! Happy weekend everyone

@Fake-E-Lee Wow it is very addictive!!! I played for a couple of hours but kept going back to the same levels as wanted to improve each one. Love it, thanks again for recommending- I bought cuphead and katana zero and haven't played either due to Hell is other demons!! I was convinced by your comment a while ago to buy assault android cactus and loved that so double thanks! Have a good weekend

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I am on daddy day care today, but once little one is in bed I am onto my new addiction- fighting games. Randomly watched a YouTube vid of some old SNK games and have now bought Garou, last blade 2 and samurai shodown... They are all great fun and making me want a fight stick!!

@Octoguy Yeah cheers for that- may still wait for a sale as not really come down in price since release. My backlog means I really don't need any more games. But it looks so shiny....

@Octoguy What is your honest opinion on Kirby? Keep watching videos of it - tempted but keep hearing it's short and easy?

Horizon chase turbo is incredible- thought I would give it a quick go last night before bed. Big mistake, three hours later finally turned it off...

I am looking forward to Doodland but slightly surprised Bug butcher only a maybe? I bought it based on NWR review and I am loving it!! Very addictive, that one more go type game which has been stopping me playing Civ 6 at some points!!
