Ubisoft blew it with the switch. They could have milked the Switch by porting over games like Farcry 3 and 4, Assassins creed Syndicate, Unity, the Anno (1404 being the best/perfect)series, and the other military games (I forget what they are called). It's Ridiculous how these games are not on the Switch considering they have global studios. What on earth are they all working on lol...
Kingdom come deliverance Elite dangerous Broken sword 1,2,3,4 collection Tales of monkey Island Red dead redemption Oblivion and morrowind Fallout 3 and NV Mass effect trilogy Farcry 3 Assassins creed syndicate or unity Metal gear solid HD collection Anno 1404 or 1800 Call of Duty
I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't put out fallout 3/NV collection or an Oblivion/morrowind collection considering how money will become tight and new consoles will become less of a priority as the west heads into a recession.
2 main things that could make or break the next system. 1. Backward compatibility where switch cartridges and estore games work on new system. Loyalty is rewarded on other platforms it would be dumb if Nintendo doesn't implement this 2. Joycon drift. This has to be eradicated with hall sensor joysticks. I don't think I or a lot of customers want another system with poor flimsy built controllers when a solution exists since the Dreamcast.
Disappointed that there are no Atari ST games on there. I remember playing captain blood, chrono quest, snoopy, sensible soccer, ikari warriors, golden axe, monkey Island and many more including games that were also released on the NES like the turtles game.
@Slowdive OK thanks for letting me know this, I was wondering why some of the freebies in the update were too small to justify how large it was. I was hoping they would have included better textures or meshes or something. I guess it's just the same game with the creation club mods and doesn't include the same upgrades found in the other console versions.
The older Skyrim got a huge update today, it gave a few free bits like fishing, survival mode and a few other things. I have no idea if it added anything to the graphics though. I think I will give the other paid crap a pass...
The Megadrive collection on the switch is far better than what they are offering on this console. Mega CD wasn't the greatest. I've only played a few decent games on the system. I suppose people will hack it to put better games on it I suppose, but it defeats the purpose of buying it as there are better devices for retro emulation.
Having been lucky to play the majority of these games when they first came out I think mario kart 8 just beats the SNES version. I have double dash and 64 and I enjoy them the least. 64 aged badly and the courses on double dash are rather boring. The SNES game is simple and the one I enjoy the most. Battle mode is hilarious, and time trial feels rewarding when seconds are shaved off and beating the ghost car. The SNES game has aged the best, A timeless classic.

Would be nice to get some first party compilations.
Re: Sega Wants To Know What Mini Console Fans Would Like To See Next
Dreamcast with hall sensor joysticks. Why not a new sega system that can play cartridges. Opens up the potential of new 16 bit games

Re: Surprise! Skyrim Anniversary Edition Is Out Now On The Switch eShop
Bethesda could have bundled fallout 3 with oblivion and morrowind but no.. instead they resell skyrim with crappy dlc for 70 bucks.

Re: NISA To Announce Four New Games At 2022 Showcase Next Week
Would love raw danger / SOS final escape collection or an hd port of steambot chronicles. Those games are hidden gems /cult games on PS2.

Re: Rumour: Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection Is Coming To Switch
Ports of Syndicate and Unity would have been better.
Re: BioWare Had Plans For A First-Person Mass Effect Game On Nintendo DS
Yet here we are waiting for the classic trilogy collection that would probably outsell any other system. EA missing out again.
Re: DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two Expected To Arrive On Switch "Later This Year"
Will never understand why Bethesda releases doom on the switch and not Oblivion or fallout 3.
