Anyone who watched the film Heat knows that's a bad plan. De Niro tried to sell the bearer bonds back to the guy he stole them from and it didn't end well for anyone
The fog in this game is so bad I thought I was playing an N64 game. So annoyed I pre ordered based on videos that obviously must have been the PC version. Awful game
The creature reminds me of a cross between 1988 The Blob and one of those aliens Tom Cruise fought on the beach in Edge Of Tomorrow. If this is less than £20 it's instabuy for me
@smileman64 yep that looks really good. I was worried about frame rate on announcement footage but the PAX footage looks great. I think that’s my next game for switch after Dragons Dogma. Been playing Dragons Dogma for 2 years on PC but it’s just an immense game I can’t wait to play it portable
“Footage of Switch version wasn’t allowed to be shared” After the Xenon Racer debacle this is not a good way to drive pre orders. I have not pre ordered MK and won’t until I see concrete footage of Switch edition, same with Assassins Creed. I pre ordered Dragons Dogma as there is 30 minutes of Switch footage on YouTube and I know it’s legit. Sort it out Nintendo
I nearly pre ordered last week but smelled a rat when couldn’t find any Switch footage. This looks truly awful. Nintendo has to sort out these PS4 footage and shots being used on eshop. I am getting more and more wary of buying switch games at the moment.
@Shiryu yeah physical controls are a must for air combat. I play it with a madcatz pad on ipad. If they can get the same level of detail on switch version, and trailer looks like they did, then this is a killer buy. It's got full campaign and online multilayer. I just like bombing through the skyscrapers in San Francisco Here's how it should look on switch screen https://youtu.be/Sm8M1szr9vY
@Shiryu That's a port of Ipad Infinite Jets. Its a brilliant game, really a portable Ace Combat. So glad to see it ported to switch. I play it on ipad with a controller and only other day was thinking it would make a great switch game. Cityscapes are amazing in it and it has brilliant feeling of speed
It’s a mobile app port, loading free version to my iPad now to see if it’s any good. It’s £4.99 on App Store btw
Edit: it’s awful on mobile. Touch controls are a joke. It’s made to use your right thumb for yoke control and left hand side has lock on button that auto locks and follows enemy’s. Then it’s just mash machine guns rinse and repeat. Weird hearing a WW2 RAF pilot shout “locked on”. Deleted it from my iPad, even free it’s not worth the drive space.
We need War Thunder or a Birds Of Prey port for Switch. There’s a huge gap in market for a decent WW2 flying game and this is not it
I would love to see a Wages Of Fear/sorcerer type mission for this. Transporting unstable nitroglycerin in a truck up a mountain. The physics and gameplay are a perfect fit. I am totally hooked on this and agree with last comment on it being a tech marvel on switch. Hope to see some expansions down the line
Ok correction to my earlier comment. When I got dumped back to main menu after putting switch to sleep I had clicked on my career before clicking connect to 2K. That prompted an offline my career new game which seems to be missing all the story stuff and just gives a calendar of matches. It's confusing as hell. Anyway basically the whole story mode only appears to be available when have a wifi connection. Would be interested if someone can ask 2K what kind of system limitations led them down this path.
A much much bigger issue for me isn't the 5GB save file but the way the game handles its internet connection. I played 20 minutes on my career earlier and put my switch to sleep to go to the toilet. Awoke the switch and lost all my progress because sleep mode disconnects from 2K network. This connection is required it seems. For on the go gaming where you need to pause and sleep switch regularly this will be a nightmare, that's provided you can even connect on the go. I admire 2Ks ambition in putting this on Switch but it feels like a bad fit. Perhaps EA had the right idea with FIFA all along

Watching a Banana Republic emerge in USA is enough. Don't fancy playing a game rigging elections on my switch

@dugan yeah it's a damp squib this one. Luckily Sky Gamblers (see above) is coming so at least there's one great air combat game to look forward too

Re: Review: Spintires: MudRunner - American Wilds Edition - Dirt-Splattered Realism That's Surprisingly Addictive
I was browsing this on Steam and noticed someone had same idea as me and has done a Sorcerer mission on Steam works. Wish this was ported to Switch version:
