Re: Feature: Zelda: Majora's Mask At 20 - The Enduring Appeal Of Nintendo's Strangest Game

NoNoseNosferatu

One of my favorite games of all time- the music, the looming sense of dread, the incredible themes and the endearing characters and their interwoven lives make for one of the finest games of its kind.

I adore this game, revisit it often and find it as fresh and endearing as it was twenty years ago, (fifteen if you count the fantastic remake)

I just might boot it up right now for the hell of it!

-flips open New 3DS XL- ahhhh yisss.

I scoffed at this series in the past but ever since I got New Horizons as a gift; I can’t stop playing it!

Our own society is crumbling it would seem but to rebuild my own in a digital format and on the go is therapeutic to say the least.

Keep up the marvelous work, Nintendo. You’re inspiring this lad to take things slow, a bit at a time, instead of resorting to existential ennui and depressive dread.

Woop woop!

Re: Controversial "Adults Only" Murder Simulator Hatred Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

Those who cannot differentiate fantasy from reality are clearly mentally ill.

This game as any other is just a fantasy, a fiction, a fabrication, nothing more.

Having said that- I’m looking forward to playing this and laughing all the while. I own a variety of content (literature, film and digital) at home, ranging charming animated classics, black and white romances, cheesy, campy horrors to bleak nihilistic chillers.

None of these bits have made me into a lovesick swooner, a sadistic killer or a reactionary anarchist.

Games like HATRED are nothing to abhor or despise, to do so would be a waste of emotion.

You can play them or choose not to, that’s your choice but please don’t say those that do are less of a human being for enjoying them.

That’s counterproductive and incredibly shallow behaviour.
