I suppose I understand the name; "Risk Someone's Life To Have Them Bring You Something You Could Download Instead Sale" just wouldn't have the same ring to it.
If only they were good games lol
@JimmySpades It's not like the postal service will stop working with or without their sale. But I am grateful I can snag some good rhythm games for cheap specially when I am in quarantine.
Horizon chase turbo the only one i would consider.... but ive already downloaded... so pass
Deemo has a killer soundtrack. Lots of songs, lots of bangers. And the rhythm game works well in handheld. Not like, 10/10 GOTY stuff, but I've kept going back to it over and over.
Never heard of these games; they don’t sound very appealing either. Hard Pass.
oh physical, was confused cause i've seen these games for cheaper than what's listed here
Hover is a solid game, but sadly already downloaded it
What a joke, "stay safe", what about the whole infrastructure of people it takes to process, pick, pack and deliver the online order! (I work in an online shop so I know and I'm still having to go to work as normal) Online shops appear to be a great way to shop in lockdown but it means numerous people getting to and from work, some using public transport, working in the same building and then royal mail or whatever delivery service have to do their side too. Online shops are making an absolute "killing" at the moment. Capitalist consumerism trumps lives every time
@SuperRetroArt It's not like the postal service will stop working with or without their sale not their fault. But I am grateful I can snag some good rhythm games for cheap specially when I am in quarantine.
All of these games are available for less in most stores.
@YANDMAN what stores? Never seen a hard copy of these games. They mostly download only
Points for being thoughtful I guess? But the content is not really appealing 🤷♂️
@yosh1 I don't know if that's an excuse. If all non essential were closed they could have less staff at work and at risk and concentrate on important deliveries. I appreciate this company is pretty small but other online retailers should not be operating in my opinion it seems hypocritical to what the experts are advising
@SuperRetroArt Honestly I'd argue every delivery is an important one as it helps keep the economy going to some degree at least and helps companies keep their heads above the water. Sure lives, health and safety are more important than anything else but as already said, they're not going to stop mail services anyway. Although yes, less deliveries to make would likely mean less workers out there or at least for less amount of time, which would mean less possible contacts to the virus. So I see the argument on both sides.
It's hard to find that proper middle ground on this matter I think...
@KnightsTemplar try using the Google.
@YANDMAN you said they are in stores... google is not a store. Unless your talking about the app store. lol. Back to point you cannot find these in local stores anywhere.. now maybe download you have found it cheaper. But physical copys i highly doubt it.
@yosher I totally agree with you too! It's really hard for companies at the moment and I'm sure lots will go bust. I really don't want to lose my job either so I'm happy to come in to work. It's just the hypocrisy and mixed messages I don't like. Thanks for a balanced, mature exchange, makes a nice change on the internet!!
.... plus I admit I might be slightly anti capitalist even though it pays my wages
@KnightsTemplar Online video game stores. stop being so silly. You find online video game stores using google. It's the internet.
