Re: Editorial: Nintendo's Surprising Fanbase is a Major Strength, Which Bodes Well for Switch

That said, I won't be buying a Switch until a new Mario Kart gets released. I am interested in Mario Oddessy, but I don't enjoy that kind of open world gameplay, so not for me, but at some point, the Switch will be for people like me. I hope! ive owned every Nintendo platform device and i'd hate to break that record now.

I almost bought the Switch for Redout (seriously, i did), but I paid 40 plus tax for it last month and now it's new for only 20 bux. I bought it on the PS4 and wondering if the Switch version is also now 20 bux? that keeps a lot of people away too, the prices on Nintendo games never seem to go down (not a bad thing really!) but annoying for players like me stuck between a rock and a hard place of finding the niche games we enjoy.

The Nintendo zeitgeist of the moment is amazing, and I hope it continues. I'm 40 and work in an office of various ages from early 20s to late 60s people and Nintendo comes up every once in a while. XBox, PS, never... if I mentioned playing on PS4 I'd probably get some chary (british word lol) looks! Nintendo, not so much, everyone chimes in. Also I was late to work many times back in the getting the Wii days hahaha, but everyone understood.

I spotted my FIRST switch today going down the subway, i noticed the Nintendo World Store bags are Zelda themed now!? saw in her bag and she totally had a switch! so is the Nintendo store in midtown Manhttan now carrying them a lot? I remember the Wii race where they would get some in each morning, but just a few... !? help! (although I cant afford to buy one now anyway, literally don't have the money) just curious!

Re: Super Retro-Cade Launches This Year, Packs Capcom And Data East Classics

NintendoRob1977

The Data East Collection was great (forgetting what system it was released on .. ps2 and gc?) and the capcom classics collection 1 and 2 were AMAZING (i thought anyway). Collecting all these advanced plug and play systems gets really old really fast, and such a waste of space and plastic. I did find my Genesis mini the other day and hooked up and the emulation is HORRIBLE (the sound is horrible, but the play is okay) but it only had 6 games on it, but it's so cute an adorable and reminds me of the mini nes and snes's. I really want a SNES mini now, what are the chances in North America?

I'm a little too old for these have been interesting to me back then, but when they die, does that mean the device was bricked or something? like you couldn't bring it back to life? I'm confused by the entire thing. Is it similar to games like NintendoDogs on the DS? I tried that game for about minute and never went back, and I <3 dogs, but I wasn't sure what the point was? Obviously i was missing it.

Re: Here Are the Key Lessons that Nintendo Learned from the Wii U

It should have had a few price drops over it's last few years, I don't understand why that never happened. That said, it's going to be quite a wonderful system to have as a collector in 10-20 years. Or maybe not. How many were actually made versus sold, does anyone know? It's the nintendo system I have the least amount of games for, and i'd like to buy some of the first party titles I havent gotten yet.. not sure though. I just recently sold about half my gaming collection and dealing with serious PTSD because of it.

I'm having flashbacks to my 12-13 year old self now and I think I possibly knew. this is funny as hell.

however...
"Hold down Right, pres B 3x then press Up, and release it. Press B 3 more times. Press Left, then release and press B 3 more times. Press Down, release, then press B 3 more times. Finally press Start" that sounds harder than playing the game itself! hahahahha I'm old now... very old so doing these kinds of button configurations in order in exactly the same time can be hard. I am SO going to try though. You said it's for the NES version, right?

Re: Feature: The Biggest Nintendo Switch Retail Games of 2017 - Fall / Winter Edition

I'm waiting for Mario Kart 9. I hope it comes. Mario Kart 8 was the reason for the Wii U purchase. Part of me hopes there is no Mario Kart 9 on the Switch just so I don't have to find the need to purchase it. Not feeling Mario Oddessy as I suck at open sandbox games and don't find them all that interesting, but really glad other people are super exicited for it and I hope (know) it will do well! I almost bought a Switch (tried to) for Fast Racing Neo on it, but since the game is ridiculously hard in a cheap way, there's no reason. All the other shovelware indies are on other systems if one is so inclined too. Don't see the need for it now, and I hope for a revision of the system in a year or two (it's obviously going to happen so I think wasting 300 bux on the old version now would be stupid if there's nothing to enjoy for myself).

I do want the neon pink and green joycons though.
