Re: Sega Wanted To Impress Nintendo With F-Zero GX, Despite Losing The Hardware War

F-zero GX isn't as hard as some people are making it out to be. Its not even about "git gud"; you probably just didn't understand the mechanics of turning and acceleration very well because the track design was solid and fair.

I'd recommend giving it a try again; a good analogy would be that...driving a car would be really difficult too if you're driving with your feet. Its more like you're doing something wrong than that its a bad car with poor handling.

Re: Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu Wants To Develop A Remake Of Zelda II

Would be great. I always liked the increased emphasis on swordplay in Zelda 2. Expanding that combat system would be great outside of the usual graphical and other quality of life upgrades. It was actually my first Zelda game so I had nothing to be upset about when people were complaining they wanted the top down zelda style.

I think people overexagerrate the difficulty of Zelda 2. You really just have to understand the gameplay mechanics and use your shield. Some sections were a bit difficult; but with all the magic you get(defense magic early on especially) its not that bad.

It was always fun to fight the ironknuckles; and go deeper and deeper into dungeons. There was a bigger sense of dread when healing items are not so readily available.

@LUIGITORNADO Lol yeah just go into accounting and drown your sorrows away in doing lines of coke until you and your wife end up on the news for a murder-suicide. There's plenty of ways for life to go wrong; but I think if someone is able to pursue the crazy childhood fantasy of making money by playing videogames; all the more power to them.

Re: Nintendo Reiterates That It's Not Interested In Virtual Reality Or 4K Support

This makes total sense. We have plenty of options for VR if we want it. Nintendo should continue to be the company that does something a bit different. If they do eventually get into VR; it would be with ideas unique to Nintendo and not simply a copycat of Oculus/HTC/PSVR with a different controller.

As for 4K; yeah at this time most people don't have a 4K TV/Monitor just yet. Not only that but honestly the difference from 1080p to 4K is more like the jump from 720 to 1080 at first glance. It is not like the feeling we got from standard to HD.
