Metroid Dread is a terrible game.. Not sure why people like it so but it does not have the feel Super metroid or fusion.. This game bombed for me played it for 24 hours and got my money back the only thing i kept was the Amiibos which are cool and the collection book and cards i got

@Not_Soos Nah i disagree Sony doesn't have Bethesda which Microsoft now owns Games like Fallout, DOOM, Dishonored Games , Skyrim, Wolfenstein, The Elder Scrolls, Starfield
Redfall, Rage, Rage2, the evil within games, Prey, and the Quake games.. plus Microsoft will soon own all of activision/Blizzard with too many game... none will never been seen on sony console again except maybe call of duty for atleast the first year anyways now yes Sony has god of war, uncharted, The last of us, Horizon: Zero Dawn and a few other i can't even remeber as i stopped playing PS for 3 years now and have no plans to buy a PS5 why do that when the real good games are on Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo which right now is king of the console fight.. Im sorry but playstation just doesn't have the magic no more and with what Xbox has now sony is going to be hurting in the future and im going where the real games are at but please enjoy PS5 Im going to be playing on the most power console on the planet Xbox Series X and Nintendo..Sony is now eating dust lol

@smithyo This is what happens when Nintendo lets third parties make their games.. some are good like some from ubisoft while others like the dread mess was a total let down

@Expa0 Agreed.. They do not know how to make a good metroid game and you will have fans out there that will defend this game no matter what ... me i hated the game and will not miss it

@Wexter I disagree with you the game was not a good metroid game... The game was such a borefest i took it back after 24 hours.. If people want to play a really good Metroid game play super metroid.... That is a true metroid game... Dread was a paste and play game. I put dread right up there with Other M.

Dread was not a good game and i got rid of it and got my money back. Mercurysteam also treats it's workers like trash so i will never buy another game from them again.. Now if you liked the game ...that's great but me i hated the trash and have no regrets

I have no plans to watch the film so i could care less

@twztid13 I agree 3D was very awesome and wish they had done more with it and with VR you can't really do 3D but it's a shame they can't do something with both

@Gamer_Zeus Well i played all of RE7 in VR and played it for hours and had no problem but shame i stopped Playing playstation now so i may go get the vive as is the best one anyways

I never owned the 64 as i had a PS1 at the time so i got the Expansion Pack to play games i missed out on and so far it's ok but wish they had more games i would like maybe GoldenEye please but i don't see that happening

Nintendo is king of this gen as it has now outsold the Wii...
101.88 Million... At this speed it will even out sell the PS4 in a short time.. Im not sure it will outsell the PS2 but then who knows at this point. But No one can say Switch was a failure remember all those crazy people saying Nintendo is doomed and the switch was doomed but it's now the fastest selling console in history. Like i said years back let those people eat static and yes they are now eating it big time

Im sorry but metroid dread was the worst game of the year and that is why it lost at the main awards this year.. I'll just stick to zero mission, super metroid and metroid fusion and pretend dread never happened. Heck id rather be forced to play other M again over that dread mess

While people play that weak metroid dread this guy beat one the hardest nes games out there with his chin... Lets see some people on here do that or at least play the true hard games of the 80 and stop praising that dread mess

@Gamer_Zeus ive been gaming longer than most people on this forum all the way back to 1979 and todays kids have no idea about a true awesome game.. Dread was a copy and paste type game..playing it safe and frankly the ive seen indie games that looked better than dread and i hate to say that ... i really wanted to like dread but i couldn't so i got my money back but keep all the ideams i got with the game as they will be worth money one day and the amiibo's were so cool

@Gamer_Zeus The biggest reason i will never buy from them again is the fact how they treated their workers and screwed them over plus the gameplay was weak and felt nothing like a metroid game.. Some people will praise this mess no matter what and frankly this game was worse than Other M... Me i got my whole 60 bucks back.. I just told them game wasn't working and wanted my money back. I had one guy on here bash me cause it might be to hard for me .. i just laughed and said go play some NES games of the 80's and come back when you face a true hard game.. Dread wasn't hard it was boring and dull..Super Metroid is the true awesome metroid and was made by Nintendo themself and not a third party company who do not understand what a true metroid game really is.. Im no hater i just hated dread now the amiibos for the game were very cool and were worth the money

@RiasGremory Wrong i was bored.. big difference if you would have paid attention and read my comment better the game was very boring to me... had nothing to do with the the difficulty setting.. dude ive beaten games that were so hard you would cry.. This game was just a plane borefest so go beat some true hard games from the 80's and 90's that would put this game to shame and also this game was made by a third party company that treated it's workers very badly but im guessing you support that so don't put words in my mouth. i was beating hard games long before you were born .. just saying lol

I don't see how since the game was so bad i took it back the same day i bought the game... Flat out boring...Good thing i have super Metroid to play... The true metroid game

@AX-7 Save you're money dread was not a good game.. took mine back and got my money back after playing it a few hours and the way the company treated their workers was the main reason i will never buy a game from them again

Im sorry but i hated metroid dread but at least it didn't get game of the year at the main awards that is what matters... Shin Megami Tensei V was what should have won Metroid dread was once again a rehash of the same o same o plus Super Metroid is the true Metroid.. Dread not so much

Im glad Metroid Dread lost to It takes Two as game of the year.. The company Mercury Steam does not deserve the award after the way it treated it's workers..and I hate to say that but someone has to stand up to these type of people. If a game is a bad egg i tell it how it is and it's not just the game it's the company mercurysteam they treated their workers like trash and some fanboys praise their company anyways..
