The art style for the hand-drawn stuff.... sort of looks neat? At 200 points I'd maybe consider it. This is why Nintendo needs to do sales like the iPhone.
If the combat has more depth than what I'm seeing, I'll look into it. IGN gave a very positive hands-on preview of it (surprising to me considering the bashing they gave Dillon's Rolling Western, my personal pick of the known upcoming titles), but I'll probably wait on the reviews.
Probably will never use it but it'll give my charge cradle a nice companion in the bottom of a drawer. I myself had no issues with Hunters so I doubt I'll have an issue with this one.
@RichIconNew I can't say I've played a single one of your titles, but I feel that every single developer for the WiiWare service has a perfect right to complain publicly about whatever conditions have been imposed on them by their contracts. While breaching said contract isn't acceptable, letting other developers and non-developers know about what you (and I'm sure others) feel are draconic policies is perfectly fine. All power to you.
Swapnote's quite fun so far, I've whittled away an hour drawing stuff based on eShop games, but it still needs a keyboard for us lousy printers, and the ability to attack multiple sounds, one per page? Or, even easier, just let us use all of our recordings (in other words bump the limit to 10 seconds long).
A few kinks to iron out, but I'm happy with it so far.
Very little of what I voted for won. Not too surprising, considering I voted Radiant Historia for DS game of the year (Yes, it was better than Ghost Trick and Solatorobo, at least in my opinion.) and Step Up! for WiiWare, since I don't own any Wiiware titles. Though I will need to check out FAST.
I loved this game SO freaking much as a kid. And yeah, I much preferred Eggman/Tails stages to Knuckes/Rouge stages. Yeah, the machine gun was worthless except for breaking boxes, but it sure felt awesome ripping through a level watching everything, EVERYTHING blowing up in front of you as you hammered on the B button. Yes the camera had issues and the story tended to jump around, but I'd give it a 7 at worst, 8 at best.
"If your house is being robbed you can choose to fight the burglar or call the police, although if your Sim fights the robber and loses he will become upset."
I'll have to keep that in mind when a burglar tries to rob my apartment that the only thing that will happen if I lose a fight to him is unhappiness, as opposed to, y'know, dying.
"Play in either Battle mode or Story mode, compete with 3 other players in multi-player Wi-Fi mode." ...is how the site puts it. Not sure if by 'Wi-Fi' they mean local wireless or online. But still.... CAAAAAPTAAAAAAIN PLAAAAAANET!
Well, that sounds better than I was expecting from Atari. Might get it once I find a used copy or two, perhaps when I help out that GameStop with getting rid of the 12 used copies of Nostalgia they've been trying to get rid of for ages now.
I'll only get it if it has a Slide Pad in the box. Otherwise, I'm saving my money for the like 8 games coming out this Christmas I'm no doubt going to miss due to living in a town devoid of games, and will promptly need to order and break the bank... again.

Avenging Spirit has sold less than Tennis. -smashes head against wall-
Go freaking buy that game, already.

Re: Retailers Leak The Last Story Limited Edition
Day one if and when it makes it to North America. They could be charging 80 usd for this and I'd still buy it.
Re: New Pokémon Title Coming to Japan in March
A Pokemon tactical title. I've been waiting for Nintendo to think of something like this for ages. Consider it a day 1 when and if it comes out in NA.

Re: Nintendo Download: 5th January 2012 (North America)
@Duney Just wait until Dillon's Rolling Western gets review scores below 7.5, and listen to the cries of Nintendo's lack of quality titles.
Re: Review: Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy (3DS)
Definately been watching this one for a while, and waiting on reviews. Now we just need the dern Nano Assault review!

Re: Game of the Year: You Decide!
Step Up! for WiiWare game of the year.
All jokes aside, Radiant Historia deserved way more love than it got.
Re: Golden Wii An Exercise In Excess
This is beautiful
Re: Out Now: Nintendo 3DS Ambassador GBA Games
Got 'em. Downloading now. Bet it'll be slow, though

Still nothing in Canada. It's 1:39 AM Mountain time here.

I was hoping this would be an under-the-radar critical hit, but looks like I'm saving my money for other, better games.
