This is a proper example of diverse art. Not just a cheap, lazy race- or gender-swap but legitimate culturally relevant stuff that offers something substantial and fresh. As a Latino myself, it's cool to see something beyond empty pandering.
A little warning from someone who has it: the magic in this game is not a weapon but used as tools, at least for now. A lot of PC players were upset that the fire spell is extremely weak but the devs explained it's supposed to be a tool and it also makes sense considering the story elements and who you play as. Don't expect to come in and start throwing fireballs and such.
I know people have proven themselves to be sheep with things for corporate branding but good lord, stop letting companies treat you like morons and enable this kind of nonsense. At this rate, we'll see an article defending putting menu options and third/first POV switches in games as paid DLC.
@Ryu_Niiyama you don't have to wonder. There are several tribes throughout the world like the Sentinelese who've had zero outside disturbance. You're welcome to live there. And Wakanda is a literal impossibility as an isolationist ethnonationalist state.
@Balta666 I don't trust corporate reviews either. People should be well-informed and mature enough to make their own decision based on information provided. Most devs are pretty good at giving people an idea of what a game is about and those that aren't already have a bad reputation so people will distrust them automatically.
@impurekind 100% agreed. I'm sure the game will be fun gameplay-wise but I'm not a fan of the art style. The recent release of Ninja Warriors Once Again is what SoR4 should look like.
Imagine if restaurants took this "customers need to shut up and just take it" approach of the entertainment industry these days.
"Excuse me, waiter, this tastes horrible. I need to send this back." "Pfff, what do you know? Just eat it and deal with it. The cook knows better than you."
It's also interesting how quick certain people defend corporations and the richest of the rich these days.
@PerishSong I'm pretty sure they wouldn't accuse that movie of "shaming" men lol I mean, it's also not like we have tons of movies where some buff man will take off his shirt for no reason on camera and wear tight clothes, whether he's a superhero or not. Totally not going for any sexual attention there.
This is where we put that GIF of Smithers trying to look away in horror from the strippers in front of him.
Get over yourselves, prudes. Women prance around half naked at comic cons all the time yet people choose to be angry or horrified when fictional, animated females who aren't even real show some skin in a fantasy game? It's both amusing and ridiculous.

Re: The Pandemic Is So Bad In Japan That A Special Edition 'Pokémon GO' Pikachu Has Been Delayed
I still remember when people were praising Japan for handling covid so well....
Re: Mario's Creator Shigeru Miyamoto Is Still "Hooked" On Pokémon GO
As big as ever? I don't know a single person who still plays it. In it's heyday, even my cousins who don't play games at all were obsessed with it.
Press X for doubt.

Re: Random: Terry Crews Wants Nintendo To Localise Mother 3
@BloodNinja it is indeed funny to see people who once mocked and ridiculed gamers and "nerds" in general suddenly rushing to prove their fandom lol
I work out, play video games, and have done martial arts since I was a kid. You can do more than one thing, quite easily in fact.
