How? Is this going to be a port of Smash 4 or a new game? No way in hell is it a new game, it's too soon, these games have a massive generation gap between them. And they couldn't be adding in more DLC if it's a port because Bayonetta is the last bit of DLC according to Sakurai. It seems likely it is a port because they would want to keep it alive on a more successful console. Still, at least it's a great launch title, even if it is a port.

I'm fine waiting, but I lost interest in Mighty No 9 unfortunately, good thing I never do any of these kickstarter funds because I can't even afford to contribute. I was going to fund Yooka-Laylee, but it didn't need my support. Speaking of which

I hated, HATED the 360 version of The Force Unleashed, I just couldn't enjoy it it was so lame. I only picked up the Wii version for the sake of curiosity and so far I find it more enjoyable it terms of control, gameplay and it had more levels too. The graphics suck yeah but that's not why I play Star Wars. I've also heard that the wii version of The Force Unleashed II has more Boba Fett in it, like an actual fight as opposed to that mere 30 seconds he got in the HD version.

Rogue Squadron II, Jedi Outcast and Bounty Hunter were awesome on the Gamecube, I had a lot of great memories with those and I still play the Dark Forces saga religiously on the PC now. (That realistic saber combat cheat is wonderful) I wish back in the day the Gamecube got KOTOR 1&2, Republic Commando and Battlefront 1&2 because those are seriously some of the greatest games you can ever experience right now for nothing on the PC, with mods and user made online multiplayer servers too. Want to play as Kylo Ren in a Battlefront game? Battlefront 2 mods then.

I also recommend the X-Wing and TIE Fighter flight sims as well as the RTS Empire at War.

Well, there goes the best selling point for Minecraft on the Wii U. Meh, I stopped playing it anyway ages ago on the Xbox, no loss for me.

Hahahaha, that's hilarious! Sure, okay, the next main Mario 3D game with have kart racing in it instead, and the next Zelda game is something we'll have to create ourselves in Project Spark. Look I like Phil Spencer a lot, he's done a lot of great things to fix up the Xbone after it's awful reveal, but when the hell is Nintendo going to share out their games to other consoles? We are a long, long way off from them going third party. You would be happy to see Nintendo games on Xbox One? Well we would be happy to see Rare games on the Wii U and NX, where they belong.

Bring on the ZX titles, I've always wanted to play them, especially the second one when I heard there was an 8-bit bonus level in it.

I definitely prefer physical over digital, unless of course it's a really older rare title that's too expensive or unless Steam has a sale on.

I'm always going to prefer the pleasure of having game cases on my shelf, it's the novelty of seeing what I own in one spot that I love about it. Same with most other media, DVDs, Blu-Rays, books, comics, especially books and comics because they're just not as good when it's on a phone, tablet or computer, it's more genuine when it's real.

But I am going to have to buy Yooka-Laylee as digital only but I'm fine with that seen as I have no other option.

Can we get Mega Man 9 & 10 on the Wii U whenever Nintendo needs to shut down support for the Wii Shop Channel? No, I cannot get enough of Mega Man on the virtual console right now, even if I feel bloated with all of these releases.

Well I'm playing the European version of the game and I'm not sure if it's running at 50hz but it doesn't feel that slow to control Donkey Kong in it. However when you're playing this on a HD TV the world feels so confided and claustrophobic, I changed the widescreen settings on my TV but it still doesn't look right, no lag happens it just doesn't look right to me.

And the camera is pretty awful. It feels like I'm struggling with the right analogue stick because of how stiff it feels. When Rare rereleased both Banjo games on the 360 they cleaned up the presentation and controls of it, I feel as if Nintendo should have done the same when it came to rereleasing their N64 games on a HD console.

Ah well.

OH C'MON! I thought this was going to be a multiple choice type of adventure but now it's basically two versions of Pokemon that I want? This needs fixed, now.

I appreciate that Phil Spencer looks at a deal with Nintendo positively, but Microsoft still has a tight grip on Rare's throat, and if Banjo and Kazooie showed up in Smash Bros today, no doubt Microsoft would want them to be the Nuts & Bolts design.

I feel as if something could be done almost similar to Marvel and Sony's deal, but there's nothing left of Rare to do with other than nostalgia value.

I like the Peach one if just because I never pictured her being a bomb expert before. XD The Samus is, well, I don't like what she's wearing on her head.

I'm still waiting for a big Wii U HD Metroid. ... It'll never happen, not on this console. Meh, I would say that I've given up on seeing another new entry in this franchise, but with a new Star Fox on the way 8 years after Command came out, it has renewed a bit of hope in me. I'll say we won't see a new Metroid come out until 2019. :/

You know, I'm still going to pick it up, but I can't help but wonder if my Gamecube Collector's Edition copy still works. Last time I checked, ages ago, it crashed a couple of times because of how old the disc is.

Wait, Lego Avengers is only going to be based on two movies and not the rest of the MCU? Considering the last game already has every Marvel character in it, I won't be needing to pick up this one.

Even though I spent either £40 or £50 on a new copy of the Prime Trilogy, I can't get rid of my physical copy of it, ever. It's too precious of a treasure. I just wish I didn't sell the physical copies of the original releases when I got the Trilogy. :/

I always expected him to live up to 100 years. Our Genesis has left this world, but we will remember him fondly forever.

So I just played Smash Bros 8 player Wii U for the first time with a lot of people for a couple of hours and with Bayonetta 2 and Hyrule Warriors giving me plenty to do, I still have no interest in this, thing.

It's probably because of my nostalgia, but I prefer this version over the NES version anyday. The NES version just looks bland in terms of graphics, and the SNES version is missing some of the improvements seen in this one.

I'd give it a B-

It's a very fun console with excellent graphics and the finest first party titles on the market and a lot of backwards compatibility although with a pretty good online service thanks to miiverse. I certainly look forward to next year's line up of games too.

However, the gamepad, as fun as it is, we could've done without it considering a 3DS at this point can do nearly everything the gamepad does. If we didn't have the gamepad, sales might have picked up better than this. Third party support is utterly rubbish, both on the fault of third party developers and Nintendo. The advertising was the worst I've seen in my life, someone should've been fired for that.

The Wii U is great fun, but it's honestly failed in terms of sales and consumer interest. I doubt it'll last longer than 2016. I say that reluctantly because along with the N64 this'll be another Nintendo console without a Metroid title.

To me, the Wii U isn't a Dreamcast situation, it's a Saturn situation. It won't mark the end of Nintendo making consoles, but they need to fix this in the next console generation.

Wasn't going to get them, but when I knew they weren't making seperate ones for Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors, it changed my mind. If only for Hyrule Warriors content and that Mario Kart 8 Samus suit. Only wish they had a Bayonetta figure now. XD

I would argue that the controls for Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and World were all perfect, but Super Mario Bros 3 had the most slipperiest controls of them all. Mario felt like he was as light as air. Better than Mario 64 however where it feels like I'm trying to force a fat guy to walk. XD

I live in Northern Ireland aka the middle of nowhere, and right now it is difficult for me to find a copy of it, couldn't find one yesterday and there wasn't one today. All of the stores don't sell Wii U games, except for one toy shop who haven't received shipment yet apparently.

There is one GAME shop in the city that would be definitely have it but my budget cannot afford both a train ticket and the game right now. Even if I could find Bayonetta 2 it'll be more difficult to get both it and the original game. I could order it off amazon, but I don't want to wait another week for it. As for buying it off the eShop, even if I preferred digital copies over physical copies, my Wii U memory is about 14GB left.

Shame, I just finished the original on 360 to get myself ready for it, and no one has a copy close to me. Maybe after the weekend it'll come through, but no one cares to sell it I guess.

Not interested until they bring in the X-Men too, but Marvel won't do that because of their hatred towards Fox.

Well umm, this is a shocker for someone who has bought every single issue of the magazine since it launched in 2006. I'll admit I wasn't reading the new issues a lot but I still enjoyed them greatly. I'm not even sure if they're done with their spine art. Oh well, goodbye ONM, it was nice knowing you lot.

Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros look far more fun so, yeah have fun selling 0 copies of this port.

Meh, if your DLC has anything to do with Man of Steel I'm not interested. Just a personal decision.

I am going to be using the Link and Samus costumes far too much, probably the princess ones too, those two look so so wrong and right at the same time.

Don't care getting Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 instead.

And you know, I think we should have gotten a proper Fusion suit with it being skinnier and such, and I really wanted the Phazon suit from the first Prime that one looked so sick. Ah well, at least we're getting the light suit and dark samus. (Why green suit is back I have no idea)

BTW do you think Zero Suit Samus might show up in green hair and pink clothing too?

It doesn't seem fair in the slightest bit yeah considering it was originally a 3DS title (I haven't even bought the HD version yet) but at the very least it isn't next gen exclusive so I can still get it for the 360 or PS3. At the very least those two consoles are cheap these days if you still want this game.

Don't expect anymore Capcom games on Nintendo platforms, Capcom clearly doesn't like seeing how Nintendo is treating Mega Man these days with all that pointless love and affection.
