Re: The Father Of Video Games Ralph H. Baer Passes Away Aged 92

James1993

@Kirk If it was not for Mr Ralph H Baer I most likely wouldn`t have my games to play which is one of three of my biggest hobbies in my life. I wish I could have thanked him in person and told him how truly special he was. I wish he could at least read my message. I wish I knew about the pong story before 2008. Now I will go to sleep feeling sad, Thank you Mr. Ralph H Baer for creating one of my three biggest hobbies, farewell and rest in piece. I wish your family as much happiness as possible you are with your family in heaven, farewell and rest in piece sir.

Grant Kirkhope let me just say a big thank you to you to for all of your work with Rare Ware incorporated. Such classics such as Killer Instinct hold a special place in my heart. You worked with David Wise, Eveline Fischer, and Robin Beanland also I believe. Thank you sir it`s a nice surprise to see you on Nintendo life. My name is James by the way.

Re: Shigeru Miyamoto is Now 62 Years Old

James1993

Shigeru Miyamoto-san happy birthday.
I am sorry for not remembering.

I am currently playing Super Mario 64 DS, not Mario Kart 8 or Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 3DS. I apologise for this also as I should be playing at least a super Mario game of the current generation, forgive for not yet experiencing the copy I own of New Super Mario Bros. U as well as Mario Kart 7 although Mario Kart 7 belongs to my brother.
I will consider playing the Pikmin series someday.

Happy Birthday sir.

Re: Feature: Our Hopes and Dreams for E3 2014

James1993

I have the most unlikeliest wish of all. I wish for Super Mario World 2: Yoshi`s Island to be announced on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console, Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, and Nintendo Wii U Virtual console service.

Re: Kyotokei

James1993

I am ashamed of not knowing that the Nintendo Wii Ware has more than just a few good titles. I will definitely download this Nintendo Wii Ware shoot `em up title. I maybe the final comment in 2014.

Re: Fish Tank

James1993

A puzzle game in the ocean is relaxing.
it`s a shame I never got around to checking out this title properly.
my comment is over 2 years late, so I may be the only comment.

Re: Feature: What We Want to See in SNES Remix

James1993

@TruenoGT Starwing I also own it, I do not own Stunt Race FX or the original version of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi`s Island, although I have the Nintendo Game Boy Advance port, the Nintendo Wii U Virtual Console service has so much untapped potential.

Re: Feature: What We Want to See in SNES Remix

James1993

This is my list I have thought up for SNES Remix 2.

2 more fighting games, 5 more racing games and five more RPG to balance these hugely three hugely popular genres out:

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

Weapon Lord

F-Zero

F-Zero BS

F-Zero BS 2

Street Racer

Stunt Race FX

Earthbound

Terranigma

Secret of Evermore

Chrono Trigger

Final Fantasy

Who has a slightly different list?

Re: Feature: What We Want to See in SNES Remix

James1993

@TruenoGT Also Super Mario World 2: Yoshi`s Island needs to be re-released, as well as Stunt Race FX, and don`t forget that not only could Nintendo have released Star Fox on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console but, Nintendo`s perfect opportunity to release Star Fox 2 was when the service began.

Re: Feature: What We Want to See in SNES Remix

James1993

Since the poll vote was to choose ONLY one Super Nintendo Entertainment System game, I chose Super Mario World, only because Super Mario All - Stars + Super Mario World was the first game my brother got, so it was the first game I played.

Personally, My Super Nintendo Entertainment System Remix would have to be:

Super Mario All - Stars + Super Mario World

Super Mario Kart

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers

Mortal Kombat

Mortal Kombat II

Killer Instinct

James Pond`s Crazy Sports

Alien 3

Donkey Kong Country

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy`s Kong Quest

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong`s Double Trouble

of course I would add more titles but maybe 12 will be released. If and when there will be a SNES Remix (which will be likely indeed). There are so many wonderful possibilities.

I hope Nintendo re-release Super Mario World 2: Yoshi`s Island.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Games We'd Love to See in 2014

James1993

@Zach You wouldn`t "hate" to see another re-release of Super Mario all-Stars, you mean you wouldn`t want another re-release for Super Mario All-Stars for obvious reasons. Nintendo Wouldn`t see any need in re-releasing another anniversary version of Super Mario All-Stars anyway.Especially since the 30th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros series Will not be until 2015. "New Super Mario All-Stars" would be a great possible release.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Games We'd Love to See in 2014

James1993

I forgot to mention the Virtual Console services!. Nintendo could Super Mario World 2: Yoshi`s Island still be possibly released for any of the Nintendo Virtual Console services? will there be any more re-released titles for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console? thank you very much Nintendo.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Games We'd Love to See in 2014

James1993

Thank you Nintendo Life staff for this post it was a nice surprise.
For me personally the no.1 announcement from Nintendo from this list , just has to be Snes Remix, the 16 - bit era and gaming in the 1990`s is forever the best decade in gaming for me. What a wonderful, beautiful and precious list of possible announcements from Nintendo this year or in the future. This list is gold and heavenly. I hope to see Nintendo boost the sales for the Nintendo Wii U, and of course wish Nintendo as much success as possible, with the Nintendo Wii U. Sony, Nintendo and Sega are kings of the gaming industry. I voted "definitely yes" for every title except Animal Crossing City life, simply because I have never even played any simulation game, although I would definitely buy and play Pilotwings and it`s series. So for Animal Crossing City Life I voted "maybe, I would need to know more first", I would say in person "maybe not but I would definitely play Pilotwings and it`s series", I would say in my case, for example if some one was to ask me would you buy............, if it was released? then of course as a loyal, faithful and die-hard Nintendo Fan my reply would be " yes, of course I would you don`t even have to ask me" in a good manner of course, without sounding impolite at all. What a marvelous list.

Re: Prolific Video Game Box Art Illustrator Greg Martin Passes Away

James1993

Greg Martin thank you very much for the beautiful artwork you have created. And for playing an essentially important role for Sega especially.
Thank you sir.

I wish I may have had just the chance to thank you in person.
I hold gaming in the 1990`s close to my heart, it will forever be the greatest decade for gaming to me.

Rest in peace sir.

Re: Competition Winners: Prima Zelda Game Guides Box Set

James1993

Hello Nintendo Life thank you very much for hosting the competition and of course for the website. I have been a long time reader of your website since the merge with www,vc-reviews.com in 2009. I now visit the website daily.
Thank you once again Nintendo Life and well done to the winners. I love the added gif animation of Princess Daisy. Mario Strikers Charged Football was one of my first Nintendo Wii games,
