@BenAV I'm with ya, I got to the 2nd area and just haven't gotten the urge to go back and play more. For me the watered down crafting system killed my enjoyment.
to add to what others have said, I started on Cold Steel by finding a Vita copy cheap at GameStop one day. Wasn't till I went to find out when Cold Steel 3 was coming out that I learned it was part of a larger series. Partly played some of Sky 1, neither Crossbell game, and have had no problems keeping up with the story.
have the Earth Dancer Limited Edition of Rune Factory pre-ordered. It's expected release day is March 31st.
Also ready for Pokemon and Metroid. Will be keeping an eye on Yumia, but from the looks of it combat has changed for the worse so will probably wait for it to go on sale before buying it. Fantasy Life is one that I'll also find used or something to get it cheap, play my fill, then give to my older sister
I do love old RPGs and never played these two . Price will determine how quickly I get it. $40 day one for sure, $50 means it'll depend on what else is coming out at the time. Anything higher will be a "wait for sale" thing .
@belmont they don't have the green checkmark, but they do have the yellow ! so they are compatible.
Which I guess depending on your definition of "compatible" they might not be if you have to go into settings to get a few things working 100%. Think it was 1 that says it defaults to M&KB so need to go into setting set for controller.
@Ryoth For the two official sources that were brought to my attention, Metacritic and Steam, they are pretty negative. While Metacritic is mixed, it is also the lowest of any expansion for both the Meta Score and User Reviews, even lower than ARR. Steam is currently sitting at "Mostly Negative" for reviews and you do have to own the game to leave a review there.
The healer strike, feels like it'd be obvious those that main the role would be the ones that would do a strike and complain about its gameplay. When your entire job can be done by the tank in 95% of content, something needed to be done to get attention, and the strike has gotten that.
@ChHa Guessing you're not paying attention to recent news then? Cause reviews for the new expansion Dawntrail (7.0) have been pretty negative and there's still the #healerstrike that started right before as well. Gameplay took a nosedive in Shadowbringers (5.0) and they have made promises to fix things in the next expansion (8.0) despite knowing that it is a problem for people.
Haven't played DT myself as I stopped in Endwalker (6.0) so I don't know how well the combat design has changed but them focusing on that is why the Jobs are all still boring samey feeling things, cause they didn't think the playerbase could handle both combat redesign and job redesign in the same expansion despite the two designs being intrinsically linked.
That said, very solo friendly game, all story related dungeons can be done with Trusts (NPC party) and only Trial (8 man content), Raids (8 man content), and Alliance Raids (24 man content) actually require you to play with other people. Most don't talk cause the gameplay doesn't really allow for easy conversation in combat. If you have any other gaming rig (PC/PS/Xbox) there's a Free Trial that lets you get to Lv70 (of 100) and do all the content of the Base Game and first 2 expansions.

Visions of Mana (Xbox) is what's got me this weekend. Will take a break for some DnD with friends and possibly some Pokemon Unite.

@TrueFace While not a remaster or anything, you can actually play the 360 version of SA2 (with Battle DLC) on a current Xbox
