I hope they keep supporting / selling Switch hardware long after the successor is on the market. I am not giving up on my Switch Lite until I finished my backlog (in about 10 years or so).
If it would break for some reason, I would buy a replacement in a heartbeat.
They are now on sale for 10 euro. I enjoyed phantom brave. The HD on the background and terrain looks good, too bad they did not upgrade the sprites. The sprites look bad against their HD background, I cannot believe they did not upgrade them to HD. I am still enjoying the game though, the gameplay is really good.
I am now 5 hours into this game and I love it. The graphics and performance are great and it is just so much fun. They added the insane difficulty which I am playing on now, since even hard is still a bit on the easy side.
I discovered the games from Rebellion, so I will be playing Sniper Elite 4 and Zombie Wars. The sniper elite and zombie wars series are 75% off and they are amazing! I always thought these were budget games, but they have such a high quality. I love the way the scope works on the sniper rifels and how you sometimes see the bullet flying in slow motion.
I liked them so much that I bought both series (now they are still on sale).
I know it was published way earlier, but I would like you to review The Settlers new Allies. On other sites, the reviews are harsh on this game and I love it. I am curious what you think about it.
I saw the reviews of this game and they were bad. But it is now on sale for around 20 euros, so I gave it a try. And I am glad I did. This game is a Settlers game, so it is very casual. You can play it and still hang out with family and friends. Even when under attack, do not think you have to rush like with an RTS. Even Civilization puts more stress on you than this game. But this is exactly why I am enjoying this game so much! It has awesome visuals (yes, also on Switch). The details in this game are amazing, you can literally see every item produced by hand. So when a plank is cut from wood, you see the log being transported to the sawmill, being taken by a worker and being made into a plank. Some Settlers purist argue this is not a Settlers game due to some mechanics missing. To be honest, In could not tell you if this is true as it was so long ago I played one but what I can tell you is that the feeling you get when playing is exactly the same: relaxing.
So if you like relaxing feel-good games with awesome visuals and detail, I fully recommend this game.
When I saw this on the E-Shop as new game, this was an instant buy for me. I never played the game on the PC and the amount of content you get for only 25 EUR is enormous! I just played the tutorials and the first mission but this strategy game is great, I cannot believe it only got a 7. When you consider how few real-time strategy (note the real-time) games there are on Switch, how good this game is and how much content you get for only 25 EUR, I would at least give it a 9.
I started with Ryza, I bought all 3 since the first one is so much fun. I also already bought (and am playing) Sophie 2.
I like that these are relax games, you can just play them and have a conversation with your family at the same time.
For me, they can produce as much as they like, if they are good quality I will buy them.
PS I like the fact that the main protagonist is a girl, it kind of defines the series
I own this game on both NSW and PC. I bought them at the same time because of the nintendo switch release. On Stream, I placed it in my wanted list and the next day I could buy it for 50% off (€27). On switch, I traded in two games and added some cash.
The intro on NSW and PC is quite te same. Of course I got other starter planets, but the tutorial and all that is equal.
I must say that when I compare my NSW to my laptop ( with 4k screen), the visuals on NSW (lite, handheld) are quite the same. The pop in on NSW is higher, but it’s also there on my laptop. The controls on NSW are much better imo.
I am very pleased with the game so far. On both platforms the visuals are stunning and there is just so much to explore. I also like to play it on two platforms, so I can compare.
For all those who leave the game in the first hour: Dying at start is normal, as you almost have no equipment and you do not have a clue what to do. Read the tutorial advise carefully, die a few times and stick to the game. After a couple of hours, you get the hang of it and you will hardly ever die. Also, when at first you do not have the scanner, search for the yellow plants to survive, it’s easy to find them in the dark as the are bright yellow.
Good luck with the game, I hope you’ll have as much fun with the game as I do!

Re: No Man's Sky Waypoint Update Is Now Live On Switch
Am I the only one who is missing the Guides now the Waypoint update is installed?
It used to be in the log….
@Edit: Found it, it’s in the main page under “catalog & guide” and then press on “Guide”.A bit hard to find imo….
