@AlanJones84 well there is precedent but it's mainly 3rd party. Shovel knight, runbow, etc. I think Nintendo has done it but I can't think of an example... Someone help
I just finished XC and got Xcx in the mail yesterday and I can't even think about what the next game should be. I wouldn't mind a direct sequel to XC though.
It's $60 us with the amiibo. Available for preorder on bestbuy.com. I already bought it. Looks great and I haven't played since 2007 even though this will be the third version I own. They said it was developed in Australia which means it's for sure second party so probably not the best it could be but better than using ead or someone else we want working on other more important games. They subcontracted it to fill a release gap. I'm still cool with it.

@DTFaux yeah I meant it's virtually useless. I did buy a couple of straps for my wii remotes but they don't sell anything new direct. It's odd that they don't want to eliminate the middleman and use this model. Traditional I guess.
It just frustrates me that NOA won't sell stuff direct to consumers and cut out best buy, etc. cut the middleman out and reap the profit. The other Nintendo companies/countries do it
