Man, I would love for them to release that game. I thought the music was awesome.

I never really got into fighting games, but I always wanted to - the fights seemed so cinematic and corriographed, like an action movie - and I think Samurai Shodown II would be a good game to try

Oh, yeah. The game is gooood. One of the things I've always liked about it is the atmosphere and the music. So awesome.

It's a remake? I thought it was an all new game? Hmm...I'll look into it. Anyway, companies don't have to take this bull from Nintendo. They should probably look into releasing their games on XBLA or PSN.

Or, they can download roms. Saves space, are free and will save them alot of time trying to track them down.

Nice article. If it's true that third parties want to put pressure on Nintendo, maybe they should release them on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN. I don't know if Microsoft or Sony will allow straight rom dumps to be put up on their services, though.

And that statement is not even an apology. It's more like they are cleaning up their own mess. I just hope this is the last time something like this happens because this is a terrible way to establish relationships with third-party publishers.

I agree. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if companies stop adding their games to the vc because of this crap, but who knows how much money they make off of each download.

That's what I did. As soon as I woke up, I checked before I went out to buy the points card. Good thing I didn't get it.

Man what a bummer. I was so getting ready to go right now to get my points card, but something told me that I should check to confirm if the games were really being released.

Yeah, I love the music in this game, too. Sure, it's not as good as part two, imo, but listening to the elecman, cutman and the wily castle tracks always brings a smile to my face.

@ deadly.by.design: Yes the buttons are reversed. It was very annoying when I first played it because I was so used to NES button placement, but eventually I got used to it. Just give it time.

Anyway, this is going to be one heck of a release day. A fighter, a platformer and an rpg? A winner is us!

Someone has to make a controller with a six button frontal layout for the Genesis and TG-16
