Re: Phil Fish: Animal Crossing: New Leaf Not Having Microtransactions is "So Special And Precious"

I'm pleased that Nintendo is wise when it comes to paid DLC. By making the full game and then creating additional content after the game is released, it really feels like you have the complete package without requiring extras. Having said that, I'm in the mindset that Animal Crossing: New Leaf most definitely does not need, and is perfect without, paid DLC. The game is so huge that I've barely scratched the surface!

And this coming from a guy who is near-obsessed with Skylanders!

@takyon98: That's the exact impression I got from his tweet.

I am so pumped for SWAP Force! I've been playing through Adventure and have Giants on layby ready for when I get my Wii U, plus I've been tracking down the characters on my list (I'm limiting my collection to a fraction of the toys), so it's needless to say I'm looking forward to playing as Magna Zone...wait, isn't that a Pokémon?

@Rumbler: You haven't encountered my quirky sense of humour, have you? I know full well that Mario is in it (Why wouldn't he be? He's Nintendo's most iconic character). I was just making a little joke there.

@SnackBox: I can only imagine the tens of thousands of oddball requests he must find on social media!

Possible example: PLZ PUT CRASH BANDYCOOT IN SMASH BROS

Another possible example: Smash Bros. won't be complete without Jake the Dog!

Iwata brings a thumbs-up...DIRECT to you!

Side-note: Mega Man in Smash Bros.! Can you believe it?!

Side-side-note: It looks like there's a lot to excite me once I pick up my shiny new white Wii U.

Re: First Impressions: Skylanders Swap Force

I hope that Dino-Rang, Warnado, Sunburn, Wham-Shell, Camo, Ghost Roaster, Voodood and Boomer finally receive reposes in Swap Force. It's so hard to find many of them on the after-market for a reasonable amount. I only intend to get one version of each character, excluding a few overlaps from series one, so it may as well be newer versions. Make it happen, Activision!

Re: June CoroCoro Reveals New Pokémon and Rival Details

@steamhare: Technically it's the seventh, since Jigglypuff is (presumably) Normal/Fairy; Girafarig is Normal/Psychic; Meloetta is Normal/Psychic (in Aria Forme) or Normal/Fighting (in Pirouette Forme); and Helioptile is Electric/Normal. And that's not counting the oodles of Normal/Flying Pokémon!
