Re: A Hat In Time Developer Claims Donkey Kong 64 Was Instrumental In Killing Off Collection Platformers

I loved Donkey Kong 64. However, from what I hard it was basically a beta test for rare and they went on to perfect the 3D genre with Banjo Kazooie. So in that regard if Rare went on to make bigger and better things, I guess one coulf bring up the arguement that Donkey Kong 64 was flawed. Nevertheless, its a shame that Donkey Kong 64 will probably never see the light of day considering Rare is owned by Microsoft now!!!

I dont know if its just me getting older but I feel no sense of "hype" or "magic" like I use to. I know Nintendo almost needs to do good this year if they dont want to loose sales this christmas season.... dare I say even this generation. D: The comipition's next gen consoles are a force to reckened with and Nintendo needs to do what they do best: release amazing 1st party software. My only prediction this year though is that Reggie will say one cheesy one liner this year, that is one thing modern Nintendo will always provide. u_u

Re: Talking Point: An Open Letter To Nintendo

Poor Guy, it seems to me that he was really hyped about the Wii U. So he bought it during the launch window only to be disappointed by the drought of games available. Although I feel bad for him, I cant help feel like it's his own fault. Developers may or may not be making games for the Wii U right as we speak. Weither its 1st party, 2nd, or 3rd games will eventually show up on the Wii U.
We all realize that the Wii U's support is pretty much aweful in the west. However, comparing Nintendo to the comipition or any company for that matter is stupid. NOA profit's of the Wii U is going to be different from NOJ sales (which at the moment a 3DS game is on top of the gaming market).
Bottom line, it is your role as a consumer to support the company you love but not to the point where you are blinded by fan boyiness. I would love to buy a Wii U at the moment I dont have the money to get one. Also, it is performing terribly in America so that could convice NOA to consider a price drop. The lack of support in genaral is also why I choose not to buy a Wii U.
Dont get me wrong random guy on the internet, I agree with what you are saying. However I cant help but believe that you made a poor money desision with buying the Wii U. Lastly, its too late to get your money worth back, so might as well like the Wii U for what it is now.

Re: Fez For Wii U Is Highly Unlikely Unless Nintendo Pays For It

This guy needs to shut up already. Yes, you don’t like the 3DS's layout. Yes, well all know that you have decided to go into extreme detail why. NOBODY CARES if you decide to put your indie game on the eshop. Now you decide to complain that Nintendo has to pay for your game to show up on Nintendo Eshop?!?! What is wrong with you! You’re an indie developer; it not like Nintendo is going to waste their time with a simple indie game like yours in the first place must less, pay money for it to even be considered. Phil Fish, shut up already. You can talk all you want when you develop a better Ethos in the gaming community!

Fire Emblem Awankening Chapter 11. For some reason the Mad King keeps slaughtering my units, intersting.
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon after all these years, a sequel to everyone's beloved critically aclaimed title. :3
Paper Mario: this title is intersting in the sense I kinda dont care about it. It feels like the "beta" to TTYD. Oh well, it is still a good title for it's time.

Pretty Solid Review.
Like @3Dash said before, Nintendo will probably release some updates and then it will be a done deal. Hopefully they will fix the WiFi connection thing before I get mine next summer.....
