This game is a waste of money and time. I think it'll be dead on arrival, maybe like 10 people that are online will play it. This game could've been so much more... Where is that WayForward RWBY game at that is supposed to come out this year at though? I'll probably get that one.
@NightMiroir Yep, you can change your role at the start of a loop. You can choose it yourself or set it to Random. Roles in previous loops also get shuffled. Let's say person X was Gnosia, while person Y was innocent -> in the next loop both of them could be innocent. It's pretty much on you to figure out who "it" is because of how the people on the ship act. Story is kinda dry imo - the fun in the game is getting to know the characters and their traits, as well as knowing who to trust because of said traits. There is a character called "Comet" - She is pretty perceiptive and can tell if someone is lying - she usually is always a good starting point for me. Also: if you are the Gnosia and like to play as it, you usually have to stay quiet in voting from what I can tell since you stand out, more people will focus on you. You can also have a high stealth stat so people don't focus on you if you choose to talk. It's a fun little game and I still have much to learn about it.
@NightMiroir It's not really... I've played it for two hours about now and after certain mechanics get introduced (skills you can use when debating and role calling as well as lying) it just gets into a loop (pun intented) of finding out who the killer is.
I hope it changes soon since it has a solid base game.
Also the fact that you can level-up and use skill points you get for leveling up to customize your character to be logical, influencial or perceiptive is pretty nice.
Until now I'd give the game a 8/10.
If they polish it over the months and it actually looks better than Nexomon (which is a mobile game and looks way better btw) than I'd think about giving it a try. If it stays like this, it's a pass from me dawg.
This game looks so silly, I'd rather play the Original games, wth.
And the Pokemon Legends Arceus game looks very empty.
I had no excpectations whatsoever and I'm still disappointed
Still gonna give the Legends game a try I think. Gonna stick to my original copies of Diamond and Pearl though, thanks
Nintendo completely disregarded the 30th anniversary of Fire Emblem and only really "celebrated it" with the very first entry of the game that is available for a limited time only. Imagine if they did the same for Zelda.
I'm enjoying the game thus far, granted I'm only 2hours in, however I have one problem with it. This game has the same problem that the Crash trilogy had. You have no clue whatsoever where you land in the game in a tight platforming section. If they could patch in an indicator like in Crash 4, that'd make the game so much better.
@MS7000 Yup I feel the same. The last two pokémon games were not up to quality of what they could do. I'm mostly and only interested in Mainline Mario games or the occasional Mario + Luigi games - a Rhythm Heaven game is long overdue and BotW feels more like and exploration game rather than the usual narrative driven "puzzle" games that we're used to.
@Friendly Same list for me but replace Mario Golf with Ninja Gaiden and we're set. Also i heard a rumour about Fire Emblem 4 getting the Echoes treatment so if that proves to be true it's gonne be huge.
@MS7000 I get how you feel but you might wanna wait a bit longer for more announcements. For me the Splatoon 3 announcement was perfect. I always wanted to try out Splatoon 2 but I felt like I was way too late on the hype train considering I missed most events and so I never bothered. A lot of people are also disappointed by the lack of Zelda - Just remember that for the 30th anniversary for Fire Emblem (which was last year) we got the very first game localized in english for a limited time. Just be patient, there are lots of games to play. Maybe it's also because the direct was very interesting to me since I'm a huge JRPG nerd. Legend of Mana, the triangle project from Square, Ninja Gaiden, Zelda Joycons + Skyward Sword which is one of my favourite games lore-wise AND the smash announcement was huge for me. Also iirc they didn't mention the Zelda anniversary yesterday so we might get a dedicated one soon, who knows.
Really cool to see Pyra and Mythra instead of Rex. He was unbearable in XC2. Granted he's just a kid but he's the least interesting characters of all the playable ones. Yes, even Tora.
@Ralizah Its nothing like Danganronpa.
It's NOT a killing game. It's an exploration game of Japan - Tokyo.
I've watched a video of a guy playing it and was very disappointed with what it turned out to be.
Granted from what I can remember the game wasn't even finished yet so I'm still looking out if they change the formula a bit for the ending or second part of the game.
Maybe it's also just a diversion to get you attached to the characters once the killing game starts.

Re: Spoiler Alert, The Next Pokémon Games Have Leaked
I don't know man, this looks kinda fake, but I'm optimistic.
At not a Let's Go game.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 20th)
Some Crypt of the NecroDancer, The Messenger and probably Trials of Mana for Switch
PS5 is mostly Kingdom Hearts 3

There is no way to pre-order these yet, is there?
Also these are probably the best Joy-Cons yet.
