Re: Aonuma: "We'll See" About Zelda Voice Acting

Fuzzy

Dragon Quest 8 did it well, so I can't see how it couldn't work with Zelda. I felt it was definitely missing in Skyward Sword, even though I have still enjoyed the game a lot.

If you really don't want to annoy people, have to option to turn the voice off or something.

It will happen eventually.

I always thought the scene in OoT where you jump over the wall of Lon Lon ranch to escape was pretty awesome. I had a lot of fond memories of that game, but that one was one I remember as something special the first time I played it.

I have lots of good memories of Zelda 2 as well, but that's just more of the 'feeling' and locations of the game, as opposed to a big scene or something.

And yes, the underwater Hyrule in WW was amazing.

I was actually thinking this morning how good it used to be, going into the Wii Shop (& here, of course) to see what the next batch of VC games were.

Now, I cant remember the last time I've gone into the WiiShop to have a look around.

Also, I would love to see those 3 Enix games on VC. I'd snap them up pretty quickly.

Re: Feature: Remembering the GameCube

This is the only Nintendo console I haven't played. I didn't play a whole lot of games a this point in time (except for a little of my brothers PS2), so most of my Gamecube experiences are from playing them on the Wii. Mario Sunshine, Windwaker, and OoT Master Quest are the only ones I've played, and I really enjoyed them.

The controller is great too. It was awesome for Zelda (wish I played the GC version of Twilight Princess) and even better for all the Mario Karts.

There's a few other games I'd like to play, but might have to wait for a re-release or something.

@timp29 - I'm sure he'd be able to afford people to do his chores for him, so his after work hours are free. Then again, he's probably 'working' most of the time anyway.

But yes, I agree with what you're on about. I try and forget about things on the must-do list while I'm playing, but there's always something in the back of my mind telling me that I should be doing something more productive. Stupid mind...
