Re: Nintendo Has No Plans To Censor Video Games Like Sony

FitnessGamer

This is definitely NOT your father's Nintendo! The company that at one time wouldn't allow games like "Night Trap" and made you enter in a secret code just so you could see blood in the original "Mortal Kombat" has just said NO to censorship. Yes, I know both of those games were before there were ratings systems, but it is interesting to see the company that was once known for censoring games doing a 180.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Will Not Support Cloud Saves

I hear everyone getting mad at Nintendo because they want people to play the game the way it's intended to be played (a.k.a. not cheating) but they don't get mad at the cheaters... FOR CHEATING!!!! The logic is simple, when you don't have cheaters, you have no reason to put rules in place to prevent cheating.

Re: Splatoon 2 Producer Discusses The Potential Impact Of Paid Nintendo Switch Online Service

I'm not sure what all the complaining is about. It's not as if Nintendo suddenly announced that you're going to have to start paying for an online service. We've known even before the Switch was released that this was going to happen. We've enjoyed a year and a half of free online play, but the free ride ends in September. Let's also remember that your $20 isn't just buying online play, we're getting a number of games with it as well. And that number of games will grow. Nintendo isn't forcing you to pay for the online service, so stop complaining before it even starts.

Re: Rumour: Wii U System Update Hints That Miiverse Is Coming To An End Soon

Let's slow down... you're all wanting to hold a funeral before the patient is dead.

There's a good chance this may be the last WiiU update released (or at least the last update for a while). Nintendo may have added the message to this update so they don't have issue another update later. Just because its there doesn't mean it's going to be used right away.

I have a hard time believing that while the 3DS/2DS is still an active system, they'd shut down the service anytime soon. And even when they decide to shut down MiiVerse (which they will do eventually), I'm certain they will give fair warning before they pull the plug, at least 6 months to a year's warning.

Remember, the first word in the title of this article is RUMOR.
