@A01 Agreed. I hope this isn't true. At least in this exact form. Maybe that's just how the dev kit for the home console works so developers can prepare for it, but don't have access to the actual entire handheld yet. It could just be that a portable in deveopment has these functions, but isn't ready for developers yet. It does say that he doesn't know if the part with a screen is required or not. So that's at least a possibility I think.
It would have to have a bit more than just a tiny cpu to handle streaming from anywhere and basic OS functions. It would have to run it's own software. Hopefully at least that part isn't true. If its a take-anywhere device it's a real handheld with these functions. Powerful ARM based SOC are cheap.
@hendie001 there are totally buttons. It looks like there's at least two under the right joystick. Open the image on its own and zoom in. That sorta makes me think this is real.
@Tamalesyatole Yeahhhh it was a jaggy mess. I really wish they would have waited for Wii U with skyward sword because that game could have been so gorgeous if it wasn't such a mess of low resolution and crap to try to cover that up. I think they did a fantastic job of retexturing twilight princess. They gave it a newer game feel while still maintaining the original game. But for $60USD I feel like they should be releasing a rebuilt game instead of a retexture.
@sleepinglion I have trouble believing it would take all that much effort. They test these games thoroughly anyways. Take another 5 hours to play with settings to make it look as good as possible.
@Sakura Yeah but, with his logic that's not relevant because it's already on a mobile device. Same reason they shouldn't focus on social media, it's already a thing. The worst part of that is that it's what he said!
@Lord_Redwood yeah but his point is more that they're wrong for doing that because Facebook already did. His reasoning for his view of this just shows how incredibly incompetent he is. He's a fool for the comment about their intentions with mobile games. They've been pretty freaking clear from the beginning that they weren't just dumping Mario onto mobile.
@Kirk I think they just released it too early. Waiting a year and increasing specs to compete while giving their teams time to make games would have helped them a lot.

@Honelith seriously? To the Internet! I wasn't going to buy it anyways, but that's ridiculous.
Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Minecraft: Wii U Edition, Or Is It Too Late?
@Minotaurgamer agreed. Better gamepad support would be cool but the extra work for that probably just isn't worth the 30 copies they'll sell.

Re: Nintendo Shares Suffer Major Drop as Investors React to Miitomo and Its Delay
@Splatburst exactly. They've said that from the beginning. I can't believe these people still expected a Mario or Zelda game.
Re: Review: Slender: The Arrival (Wii U eShop)
@Goob. jumpy, slow. Not good for the low light environment of a horror game.
