@YouSeemFRAZZLED It was, before the game was released. When the community was flooded with in-game screenshots, the spammers considered it as a "dead community". Thus, they moved to the Wii Fit U community to post their never-ending garbage. Then when the July update came, they left to their "final destination" which was the New Super Luigi U community.

@Kroko First of all, the reason for why that petition was made was because the creator thought that they will shut down Miiverse as soon as the Switch is released. What he could've done instead of waste everybody's time was email Nintendo's customer support about the issue. Also, if Nintendo was going to announce the shutdown of their social media, they would've done so by now(like how they gave the warning of the shutdown of the DS/DSi and Wii Wifi for example).
