Re: Here Are The Best And Worst Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Characters According To Pro Players

Zelda is great in Ultimate, even more so than in 4. Her Farore's Wind kills even more reliably and is a guaranteed kill over as low as 50% on certain stage ceilings or platfoms, so opponents have to keep very far from her (which is difficult considering most top tiers are close-combat).
Her Phantom is also improved since you can use it to setup combos somewhat like Robin's Arcfire. People online usually shield on impulse when they see Phantom charging, which leads for a very easy grab before it comes slashing fowards.

So I think she'll get much higher tiers than what people are expectating. They're just being conservative and considering movesets like they were in 4.

@Bengyman there's a perfectly fine reason for "always Australia"

In mobile software development, there's something called Softlaunching. It means launching the app early in just a select few countries and is useful for when you need to gauge user-dependable systems such as in-game economy, monetization and retention.

The Australia part comes from the fact that, usually, developers pick countries with the most similar culture and economy as their target audience in order to gauge the game's profitability in a much more controlled environment and adjust prices as needed.

Since they chose Australia, I must only assume they're Softlaunching the game to test their success in the USA, since the two countries are so similar in those measuring terms. Canada is usually the first choice for this, but I think either they didn't want to spend that much money into marketing the app in such a big territory or they're taking care of not overload their servers do they work with a smaller userbase. This is exactly why they softlaunch Pokemon GO there aswell.

@CapeSmash The CPU would still be able to recreate matches if Nintendo made plans in advance to save versions changelogs inside the game and make it downgrade back to these versions when those specific versions are replayed. This isn't a limitation, it's just bad, rushed design.

"Pilotwings Resort team Next Level Games"

What? MONSTER Games did develop Pilotwings Resort. The ones from Excitebike World Rally and Excitebots. Next Level Games only did crappy games such as Mario Strikers. Both studios are pretty different, quality-wise. That's why I'm afraid of what will become of LM2.
